[QUOTE="XB360_John"][QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="XB360_John"]that is quite an weak/ignorant statement itself really, you know comparing risking your life to socializing with friends

Ok. I like playing Mario games. I am not going to go out and start jumping around. Racing games and real life racing, etc.
We play games as an escape from reality, where as in many cases we could just do the real thing. But that defeats the purpose of playing the games.
-_-' your missing my point though, that playing the real thing is easy and accessable....and FUN. going by your examples i can't see myself enjoying jumping around as much as i would in a mario game, nor is it accessable for me to respawn in WW2 time after time.
Also it doent matter if you're not great at playing the guitar, hell neither am i. but i can still enjoy it more that playing some scripted songs by hitting some plastic buttons.
The real thing is easy to some. I find playing the guitar to be excruciatingly hard and not fun at all. Its all in how dexterous you are with your fingers.
then get some friends who cant play too, i mean...have you heard some of the indie bands lately?
