Am I the only one who don't care about Halo 3?

Am I the only one who careless about Halo 3? I'm not trying to start an argument here or comparing it to other First-person shooter's. I don't talk about Halo in general. The two Halo games on the original Xbox is ok, but I found it rather slow and unchallenging for my tastes and it doesn't appeal to me. It's a good series, though and I will still check out the third game in the series but I'm kinda meh about it.

Same, felt challengless, even more so the Multiplayer, although its quite fun on LAN.

Halo 3 has me interested though, looks nice, and has refinement, I could wait a year for the PC version, but will like just get a 360 eventually instead.

Nah there seems to be a lot of people on here who are feeling the same, nothing wrong with not liking it if its not your cup of tea.  The only thing that I think is stupid is all the flak its getting lately from people who havent even probably seen a decent video of the beta much less played it.

same, best xbox game out there. At a LAN i went to last night we were playing Halo 2 and had a conversation like this:

Friend 1: "Wheres the invert look button?"

Friend 2: "Wheres the Fun button?" (we were all bored as hell and wanted to play something else)

Me: "Gears is the fun button!"

(a few laughs and then we all go to play Gears except for this one guy who is obsessed with Halo and sucks at Gears, he was mad lol)

If you don't even slightly care about Halo, why go through the trouble of making a thread about said game? Do you care that you could care less about Halo?

Perhaps he cares about the endless "HAlo 3 good or bad?" (in loadsa different forms) and the countless "Best games" automatically every 360 user says HALO 3 FTW even though in the majority of the cases they havnt played the .. for example PC Equivilants.

Halo 3 has ALOT of competition for FPS GOTY this year, being a fan of a game is great, but you should always be aware, that there are BETTER games out there.

Ahh..... Then thats mostly a problem to the peoples perception and or reception to the Halo franchise. Also, don't get me wrong, I completely agree with you. But that's exactly the problem, it's all subjective.

Not to mention that most of the games you're referring to, aren't even out yet.

You are not alone. I don't really care about Halo 3 but that's only because I don't have a 360. :(

The way I observe the XBL community playing Gears, it seems they're bored out of their wits.

I care a lot, I just won't pick it up until mid-late next year probably. Not to belittle it or anything, there's just other games I want first. I'll be picking up a 360 in the new year with:

• Mass Effect
• Bio shock
• Gears
• Dead Rising
• G RAW
• COD4
• GTA4

That's why I only play with people on my friends list, which really mimimizes the encounters with these tards.

For the most part, when I played Halo 2 online this year, playing custom matches saw pretty competitive gaming.

Gears on the other hand.... my brother just goes onto Annex in custom matches, the game gets filled up pretty quick and everyone's glitching and being stupid.

Guess Gears is fun for doing that. I never really liked the MP though.

The higher leveled players in Halo 2 are real jerks. They would use the "superbounce" to give themselves height advantage or give land an BXR which instantly kills you then afterwords they would laugh at me however my experience with Gears was no better such asthe chainsaw glitch which was humorous at first got old real fast.

Apparently, all kinds of jerks exists on all online games. I was playing CoD4 yesterday and I was in a middle of racial slurrings between some Brits and Americans. My fellow Americans were throwing some homophobic ranting on the Brits because of their accent. The Brits did the same and threw in some HILLBILLY comments. It was pretty hilarious at first. Then they ended up laughing together because they had something in common....they hate black people. Yeah....WTFSpartan_024

Exactly and its all thanks to the fact that everyone playing online isbeing protected by anonymity.
