I bet MW2 sells over four million in the first few days.

I see this all to often:

"Its the same game!"

"Teh Reharssh"

"I already own it lol lol lol lol I have MW1"

Its seems like a passing fad that its "cool" to bag on MW2 for being same old same old.

But God of war 3 manages to be the same exact game with updated graphics and it gets praised. No one ever brings up how God of War is a rehash every installment.

With SW logc every sequel must be a rehash. Everyone here expects a genra change every installment.

Eh, some people are now genuinely sick of this franchise after Activisions yearly churn out. And I don't blame them. I'm a huge Call of Duty 4 fan but I just won't be picking up MW2, because from the looks of the videos it really does seem like it's the same game again. It's now five sequels on, many have ranked up and prestiged 20 times now, despite enjoying ourselves we've been burned twice now by the exact same online problems - it's perfectly reasonable that some simply don't want more COD.

God of War is a poor comparison to make. The last game we got in the series was 3 years ago, not one. GOW3 is the first time we are seeing the franchise on PS3 too - there is basically no fatigue attached to that franchise as there is with COD.

Another issue people have with MW2 is the UK price increase, which is just ridiculous. If you're American, you probably won't care, you'll pick up you're game at the same price as every other game. We in the UK have to pay a premium for this game, more than any other standard edition non-peripheral based game on the market. Activision have no excuse, and I for one will not be supporting their exploitative attitude towards UK consumers.

MW had a crappy SP,but the MP was fun. MW2 is something I get wayyyy down the line. There are tons of other games that have my eye.

For some reason i have got all CoD games. I really dont know why since the last one i liked was CoD2. I know ill end up getting this one too :oops:

You have a point there. I personally wasnt a fan of WAW. But I played it over COD 4 because it was sooooo easy to do good and me and my friends where a pretty sweet clan. I havent even ranked up all the way yet. I just didnt like the feel of it. MW2 on the other hand is going to be like seeing a girl you had a crush on in middle school, and now shes a full blown women.....with a huge rack.

Its going to be awesome.

I loved its SP. It ahd to be played on insane though. Im the only one in my friends list that has Mile High Club. saying I was a fan of the SP would be an understatement. I genuinly cared about the characters.

Well oct has 6 games I want. 4 being rpgs. So that alone is enough to keep me busy till next year. Im not even counting games like AC2 and R&C.

Never liked Cod! But there's more newer and original i.ps out there that will be much funner like Borderlands, Alpha Protocol, Dark Void,Dragon Age etc and also cool sequels that looks awsome like Mau2, AC 2, Uncharted 2, Forza 3.

uhh im not getting it for two reasons one is im sick of first person shooters and the other is i only play wii and ds, i hate 360 and ps3...

Buying it used. I figure the only way better to let Infinity Ward know I hate their master than not giving them money is giving someone else my money for their product.

People here are acting like they have already played the game lol.

SW delusional as always, hate on, I love it you are the one who is missing out on a badass game.

The haters were saying "well I know the mp will be the same" and now when the mp video comes out and they show new features and weapons, the haters keep on hating no matter what.

Keep denying it, keep on, I :lol: once this beast gets 9.5 and maybe GOTY.

After that mp trailer, Im really pumped, best shooter this generation PERIOD.

I might get it i really dont know.
