Am I the only one who sees that God of War 3 has average graphics?

No gameplay videos or screenshots suggest otherwise. The A lot of articles I read are saying this games graphics are PHENOMENAL and BREATHTAKING but it really isnt all that good. It like, doesn't even look THAT next gen. I mean its graphics are FINE. But, since the gameplay is essentially exactly the same as before with kind of better graphics and just a different barbaric story, why should I buy this. Thoughts? (Not a joke, the graphics dont look good) IMO

No, I'm sure there are other strange people who think it looks average.

Screenshots and Video clips are very poor sources for judging graphics. Uncharted 2 graphics look only slightly above average in screenshots and gameplay videos.

The only way to really get an idea of the graphics of a game is to play it.

Oh and yes Mass Effect 2 Blah blah blah, but im being serious. And yes, have you seen Mass Effect 2's graphics, like in all seriousness, theyre extremely good. Better than the first in every aspect, visual and technical.

Judging from the demo, i think it has great graphics. it has amazing textures and lighting. it's no graphics king, but that demo was from quitea few months ago

I'm confused by this post, but nonetheless I think these two things should be accepted as fact:

1. There are no "console" exclusives

2. There is no "console" graphics king

The E3 demo looks awesome and Its just an E3 demo.The final game will look even better.

I just dont get why people dont like it.Some were even saying that it is GoW2 in HD, which is just insane.Why do I get the feeling only lems and people that haven't played the demo bash on its graphics...

I wasn't impressed at all with the demo. Visually or gameplay wise. It was pretty dissapointing IMO. Only reason i'll be buying it is the story.

I have played the demo about five times and I can say that it's a fantastic looking game. I don't think that it takes the title of "Best Looking Console Game," but it still looks awesome. I found myself unimpressed by the visuals until I finally played it for myself. Only then was I able to appreciate the the artistic and technical efforts being made. When you are tearing through the game with the blood, lighting and animations firing at full power you begin to see how good the game really looks. My advice: Play the demo before you make a post about how average the game looks. NAPK1NS

it looks pretty good to me. the game just looks like sheer FUN. AAA for sure

God of War 3 graphics is technicaly great, add awesome art and you have one of the best looking console game. And that was just old demo from the alpha stage of game development. Full game will have better graphics and framerate.
