Still trying to decide on which type of HDTV I would like to buy.DementedDragon
To save you time, go pick up Sony 40" XBR2Â

It's a noticeable difference, but it's not worth the money IMO.

1080p Samsung, which my folks bought as a result of moving their old TV to a real estate investment/makeshift vacation house. It was $1600 through an online retailer and is one of the better deals for HDTVs out there.
You are, its like upgrading from stereo sound to 5.1 surround.[QUOTE="pundog"][QUOTE="white_sox"]No, I don't have one...I really don't think I'm missing out either.

I'm happy with Mono
That's what I thought untill going stereo, then 5.1.Â
HDTV won't cost more than $2300 I guess (well, not for those top ones)
since it's reasonable, why not getting one ?
amourkiss
How is that reasonable? With that money I could get a PS3 and a bunch of games. Or a truck full of games for my 360. Or build a top of the line PC. Or pay for a semester of college.

Switched from my Sony 36" SDTV to a 47" 1080p Westinghouse about 2 months ago.
Â
HDTVs are selling cheap these days, those 30" 720p Samsungs are less than $1500 now.(the ones that Microsoft use to show off the 360)[QUOTE="DementedDragon"]Still trying to decide on which type of HDTV I would like to buy.InTheBible

I heard the XBR2 is one of the best HDTVs out there, if only it weren't so expensive. :?

To each there own I guess. I've played Gears on my friend's HDTV and I honestly do not see how anyone can say it's worth that much money.

In stores its 3,000 USD regular price. Go to Pricegrabber and find the cheapest price. I seen for 2200 on there. Imma pick it up in couple of weeks. (Ape's Main" is the reliable one cause we bought our 46 sharp and had no problems getting it)
PS: I know 2Gs is a lot, but it will last for a while!
I want this poll to be voted on by everyone here on GS just to illustrate how different the hardcore market is from the general consumers and non-gaming market Nintendo is targeting.Kalel559
actully i would have thought Hardcores had HDtvs, but acording to the poll no
The last TV I bought was a 12" tube so I could play my Wii at work.
I don't plan on buying an HDTV anytime soon.
