If its of MGSIV quality thats fine with me.... MGSIV is still the best game played so far in this gen... Heavy Rain might be the second :)

The guy on crysis looks overdone when it comes to skin texture. It looks like his face was scrubbed with steel wool as a child.

The graphics of the game look absolutely stunning.

EDIT: I believe this shows how great the graphics are since this is a better quality video.

As for touched up, the head isn't. That's an in-game picture. As for the model, I'm unsure. The picture's being shown for this game are promotional. Of course you wouldn't say Crysis looks better that would be admission on your part, denial and underplay is far easyer. Also, bare in mind, this is a huge sandbox game.

Textures can only do so much, however.

Looking at that Heavy Rain tech demo in motion is still insane. Crysis's character models look very pretty in stills but the animation isn't quite up to par with the textures and lighting.

All Immersiveness was removed by her lip syncing.

The backgrounds looks like static scenery with prebaked shadows and lighting. Now only one character model, perhaps 2 to render but it doesnt really stand out for these type of adventure games, though the animations seem to stand out...

But the real question is, how would the Crysis face models look when running on a $500 rig (cost of PS3) and what framerate would it run at? ;)Zoso-8

$500 would give you high settings at 30-60fps at 1280x720p.

Why is everyone posting Tech Demo pictures from 2006 (featuring the girl that was cheated on)? It doesn't represent the final product.

That said, the models look really amazing. I still need footage to know if it looks that awesome. No, the Tech Demo is not enough. That was an old trailer and now that we have the real thing, it's time to forget that tech demo.

Pretty sure it's the FakeFactory mod which allows you to choose how you "want" your Alyx.

I know FakeFactory personally prefers his Adriana Lima version of Alyx, but some people like Valve's original vision, except with FakeFactory's incredible textures.

Apparently that guy likes his Alyx with more silicone and lots of cleavage.

Anyways, I looked at the "Actor Demo Tech" video, and thought that was beautiful. I personally like where this game is going even if some claim it to be passive entertainment. I mean, they are focusing on what we, and everyday people struggling, go through sometimes. This is brilliant IMO. I'm looking forward to this game.

Bullshots and the ones not having blur from depth of field effect look meh. Once again the vaseline filter rears its ugly head! But the chick looks good with great art. Still a lot uglier than Crysis high setting characters.

The Heavey Rain screenshots are bullshots, probably 4500x3400 res and downscaled. Crysis looks far better regarding faces and lightin etc etc.
