Amazing In-Game Demo Shown Running on PlayStation 3

News has just hit the internet about a "in-game" demo that is "amazing" running on the PS3. This game seems to be the game that had a BBC reporter blown away.

Onaxis writes: "A website known as 4Sceners have uploaded an image gallery of screen caps they received when they viewed an amazing in-game demo on the PlayStation 3. They said the game's graphics were truly in-game and looked better than Crysis, KillZone 2, and Metal Gear Solid 4".

So you heard it here first. LingerInShadows is not just a technical demo. Its a game, and I am being as bold as to say its the game that had a BBC reporter "speechless"

The article turned out to be a misinterpertation. It's just a demo running on PS3. Btw this is old news nothing to see here people.

There is a HD video of the game, these screen were taken from the video. I dont know why the pics were small thought. Click on the link for where i said ' read what the developer wrote", they are trying to upload the 300 MB video.. im still looking for it, people who saw it said it was Amazing.

The developers site download thing crashed or somthing.. its not working :p If anyone finds the video!! PLEASE POST IT :P

Its all in a 64K file. The first link lets you download it and run it on your PC, and the second is just the vid from YouTube.

I discovered The Product 7 years ago and it still amazes me to this day...

Now we actually get to see the CELL do its job.

Most games on the PS3 don't use all of the 8 cores.

Yes there are some amazing games like Uncharted, GT5, and Ratchet and Clank.

But THIS..... this... this is totally different. This is 100% of the PLaystation 3's potiential.

Remember videos on YouTube showing the PS3 rendering ray traced lighting in real-time?

Remember how the PS3 can fold proteins at amazing speed that supass high-end PCs?

Now put all of that power into a game and this is the result.

Killzone 2 lived up to its hype (from the actual gameplay vs. the pre-rendered videos released) so why not this? Please don't complain until its released especially if the developer said it was "real time."

Ok... that was a weird video.

But the graphics were good. I didn't they were better than Crysis though and I hated how all of the background was hand drawn.

Sure its not better then Crysis ... on a $2000-$3000+ computer and even then there will be some lag.
