[QUOTE="Not-A-Stalker"][QUOTE="travt-down"] Nice, but not impressive. Welcome to the DemoScene, fellas. Pouet.net is a place for artsy coders to show off their stuff. It's just a 'short film' that will likely be entered into one of the many DemoScene contests held every year.
No demoscene project will ever be as impressive as The Product...

Its all in a 64K file. The first link lets you download it and run it on your PC, and the second is just the vid from YouTube.
I discovered The Product 7 years ago and it still amazes me to this day...

I like how everyone completely ignored this post.
But the interesting thing about all of this was the SCEA and Santa Monica Studios logo in the beginning. Why were the SCEA and Santa Monica Studios logos present if this was just some... tech demo by some random up and coming coders for some indie competition? Were they just put there to try and make it seem as real as possible?
(Please excuse my ignorance, sorry if I may offend)
Who's to say that the logos are legitamately there. I could make a vid and put Sony all over it, but it wouldnt make it official.
Or...the creator, Plastic, may be a dude working for Sony and is being used for his creativity to sell hype.
In any regard, its less than stellar compared to to thousands of demos on Pouet.
or maybe that's a game that'll be showed some time later on, and they're already building hype over it.
