Why the hipsters though?
Cool video.
Imagine if Nintendo did something like this. From NES to the wii U, from greatness to the biggest sh*t.
Even more proof that people cling on to Playstation simply because of nostalgia.
Oh well, its going to trample the XboxOne for this entire generation for one reason or another.
The camera movement made me feel motion sickness.
Praying on nostalgia? I don't need a commercial to tell me i liked past playstation. but playstation was just one part of gaming.

Just like the last generation?

Indeed.
Better games and sales.
Thought I never owned a PS or PS2. I can see and feel what they were trying to convey in that video.
It's been one hell of a gaming life. So much change and good memories.
Oh wow I loved this, I'm from London, my room pretty much looked like that through PS1/PS2/early PS3 days and that signed school shirt, I still got mine.
Hnnng cant wait for PS4

Really because most of the PS3s AAAs are new ips of this gen, dumbass. Want to see nostalgia? Look at nintendo

No even more proof that sony is in tune with the gamers and has been for years, and it just shows that sony make quality products
microsoft are only in it because they believe that its money to be made and have no passion,
sony on the other hand, come across as a passionate company who believe in games.
I like that trailer a lot. I felt some serious nostalgia seeing the PS1 and hearing some of the sound effects at the beginning. BTW this is for a competition to win one of 20 PS4 consoles. So if you live in the UK and wouldn't mind having a chance to get a free PS4 then this is for you.
It's a brand loyalty ad, meant to remind you of all the great times you had with PlayStation. Made me think of selling my old Sega Saturn for a PSX and getting Tenchu. Memories...
Was kinda moving actually. I've had playstations (and nintendo consoles) since I was child. Really brings back memories.
Sorry but I could not help but noticed that the PS4 has less games. LOL.
Launch line ups mean nothing. Libraries grow over time for all platforms, assuming their market longevity.
Its okay. We spent almost as much time looking out that window over and over as we did seeing classic, memorable PS games.
Could/should have been more impactful
That was pretty cool. Though I cant stand fake playing game acting. Noone plays like that dammit.
That is true, the whole mashing every dam button stupidly fast constantly. Only people who have no idea what they're doing on fighting games do that...
I got feels but only because that's exactly how my old room used to look when I lived with my parents. lol
That is one thing which struck me as peculiar. I mean occupying the same space for at least 18 years, and assuming that the guy starts out between 17-20 years old. I mean if that was a college dorm, he should have graduated long before PS2 came out. And if that's his room at his parents place... then what the hell is he still doing there when PS4 launches?? LOL :P
