I belive this video speaks for itself, but was this really necessary AMD? was it?

Summray: Amd is the better choice for gamers on PC and consoles alike, while NV can have the mobile market.

Maybe that will put a little pep in Nvidia ass to straighten out their driver BS.
yeah they really screwed up with the newest release
They've screwed up every new driver for almost a year at this point. 306.97 was the last stable, smooth driver for BF3. Every single one since has had issues. Although none of the previous releasing were frying GPU's like the current driver, lol.[QUOTE="lostrib"][QUOTE="Truth_Hurts_U"]

it was worse when they fried whole laptop motherboards and never fixed the issue. Â Something about crappy materials

That ad was great!
Don't be so lame guys, if they're going to compete they might as well do it the fun way.

I never had a 8 series card from Nvidia, that said I do have a 8800GS but I've never tested it :P Nvidia's nForce chipsets were quite poor. And AMD is now too. Ever since Never Settle started they've been doing much better in their desktop graphics sales. Not to mention that ALL of the new consoles have AMD hardware.Awesome video.
But, AMD can say whatever it wants, Nvidia is actually making money.Â

Probably you need to read this
http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/18/all-frostbite-3-titles-to-ship-optimized-exclusively-for-amd
Next gen titles will be optimized for AMD hardware day 1.
And? If they let Nvidia get access to the code before release date then Nvidia will have day one drivers too.Probably you need to read this

I think people exaggerate driver issues quite a bit :?

I don't know, seems like the 7970 Ghz edition was the better card this gen.

Didn't think it was a worthwhile upgrade from my 580.[QUOTE="jhonMalcovich"]And? If they let Nvidia get access to the code before release date then Nvidia will have day one drivers too.Probably you need to read this

But still, I believe, Nvidia will be playing catching up next gen. Multiplats will get a special treatment for AMD hardware next gen.

I never overexaggerate driver issues. In truth I haven't had any real problems with recent drivers other than with BF3. For some reason its been difficult for them to get smooth performance in BF3. Its not game-breaking by any means, bu 306.97 was extremely smooth so the slight stutter since then is noticeable. However I do get a bug with the newest drivers where the textures in BF3 start turning pink and all sorts of different colors, and sometimes the screen goes black and does a kaleidascope type thing. There are users reporting the newest driver has caused their GPUs to fail. How many of those are just due to coincidence or randomness I don't know, but its been reportable at numerous sites. I do agree that a lot of people overexaggerate driver issues, but this time I do really think its a bad driver.[QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"][QUOTE="clyde46"] If the next line of AMD cards can sock it to Nvidia then I'll go with them, until then Nvidia offers more value for money. clyde46

Whats funny if you look at benchmarks for any of those games a nvidia card is always on top lol. Â AMD fails.

It seems to have issues mainly with BF3, and supposedly it fried some fermi cards. I know that with 320.18 I got bad artifacting about 15 minutes into any game of Bf3.

unfortunately it came out well after initial 7xxx launch, and after the 680 and 670
