An advantage to PC gaming: Great Free to Play Games.

League of Legends. Biggest game in esports period. Awesome polish and balance, like crack.

Blacklight Retribuition. AMAZING new FP2 FPS. Really really impressive game, amazing graphics, tight gunplay. Soo addicting. Coming fomr an avid FPS player (COD, BF3, TF2 etc...)

Team Fortress 2. No intruduction needed.

Tribes Ascend. Really fun fast paced gameplay.

Quake Live. Epic competitive game. Good 'old Quake.

These are just the ones I have installed at the moment, if consolites knew what they were missing they would cry.

The consolites would sure eat it all up when it comes to them nextgen, since all this DLC (Disk Locked Content) started because they are all a bunch of gullible idiots

who likes to b endover and take it from the greedy b astard devs/publishers who only cares about $.

It is an advantage but most of those are online-only so people who don't like online gaming won't like them.

Great is a relative term. What's "great" to a PC gamer is not necessarily great to a console gamer. Take Tribes: Ascend for example. It seems to be getting a lot of praise from the PC community, but I can't find anything about it that even propels it into "good" status.

I suppose being free gives it a different set of standards, though, so that may also have something to do with it.

Now that F2P games are rising on pc (and alot are succesful), I bet we will see them on next gen consoles.

That is an advantage. When I don't feel like working while sitting here at my PC i play Rusty Hearts from time to time. Free is good but doesn't mean quality.

Free2Play competitive games aren't worth playing. They all have those wasteful guys who spend $100 every week and one-shots everybody.

Team Fortress 2 sells weapons that any free account can find from drops. Everything else in the store is cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay. That's how Free2Play should be.

Tribes, BL, LOL, TF2 are great.

Lol at the jelly console kids angry that free games are better than most of their $60 rehashes on console.
