[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="Ontain"]but in society we have ppl who's opinions are worth more as well. they are called consultants, analysists, advisors. everyone using them and count them higher than some random guy on the street.Ontain

Validity and Value are two entirely seperate concepts here. Just because more people agree with a certain view point, does not by any stretch of the imagination make the opposing viewpoint less valid. Its still just as valid.

i was talking about worth. and as i said some ppl's opinions are worth more than others. it doesn't make joe schome's opinion invalid for himself. but the other persons opinion is worth more.

Which really doesn't surmount to much. It doesn't rule out another view point. The review saying it makes the game better is still not a fact by any stretch of the imagination, and I could easily say it makes it worse and be just as valid.

I'm not saying it's a fact. i'm saying that opinion is worth just as much as the score and thus more than anyone of our individual opinions for other readers.

This is one of..... what? 2 or 3?

What happened to the "gaming revolution"?????

Just another reason why ps3 is the best all around console. Sony didn't put ALL of thier eggs into the motion sensing basket with ps3, but it's an option that doesn't hinder regular games.

But it's your opinion that your opinion is worth more. It's like saying morality isn't subjective, you're stating you're own subjective morality on the subject of morality, just like you're stating your own opinion.

That doesn't change the fact that the Wiimote should continue to be commercially sold, especially next gen for other consoles through a different name/design, also, there's no reason why it can't be accompianied by the gamepad. The Guitar Hero controller works for Guitar Hero games and Rock Band? Does that mean it shouldn't be used? Even if the Wii-mote is only good for so many games, it shouldn't be ditched all together.
wemhim

I'm not saying that in any way. Sorry if that came out wrong... I'm practically sleeping :P . If anything the Wii shouldn't be ditched over some rushed ports and other horrible 3rd party games... Tho some of the tech came late to some of them because of Nintendo themselves.

The use of the Wiimote will only get better as developers learn on how to use it, it's only natural.

Not really, it's your opinion that it's worth. I could pay someone who's never played a game to write a review for Big Rigs and he might give it a 9.5 for some website I decide to create, and it might become a very popular site for reviews, that doesn't mean it's more worthy. It means it is more worthy to the general public, but it isn't the almighty objective worthyness.

I stop listening to reviews when Street Fighter III: Third Strike was outscored by Dragon Ball Z Budokai.

I got discouraged by reviews when Odin Sphere, Grandia, and Suikodian were all outscored by almost all the Final Fantasy games.

And I make fun of reviews because the PSP has more AA's then the DS *can someone please explain to me how Phoenix Wright, Final Fantasy III, and Etrian Odyessy fail to get AA but Madden, The Warriors, and Def Jam did it easily?*

*All info done by Gamerankings*

I've said it once and I'll say it again.

REVIEWS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW GOOD A GAME IS, ONLY HOW APPEALING IT IS.

So I guess Hitler was credible with his opinion on jews in terms of Germany and their allies? So it was a more worthy opinion to believe that they were inferior and deserved to be put in camps and be murdered? Because that was a popular opinion made by a major tyrant?

there's no denying that his opinion during WWII was quite a bit more powerful and influential than yours or my opinion will ever be. but it's also clear that there were opposing views that were more potent :)

if we agree or don't agree is our business.

Once again man twists the annals of history. There is absolutely positively no written record of Hitlers involvement whatsoever with the Hollocaust. There is, however, extensive evidence showing he suffered from parkinsans disease and that his doctor, Morrel, administered great ammounts of drugs to him. If anything, he was a drugged up, controlled mouth peice for the nazi party. Thats atleast what EVIDENCE tells us. Back on topic though, yes.

Everytime I read one of your posts or look at your messed up red x sig, I get dumber

The poor hedgehog is still living in the past, he can't accept that Sega is dead and that Sony is bombing hard.
