Analyst Expects PS3 to win...in 2011...

What do you think? I think that by 2011 the PS4 will be out along with the new Nintendo and Microsoft system. And i highly doubt that PS3 will come close to Nintendo or Microsoft.

it will still sell plenty of consols to get great games and exclusives due to its power

In 2011, or even in late 2010, people will have xbox 720 and "insert new wacky nintendo name here"

Playstation 3only has a chance to win if sony secures better exclusives for it and drops the price by a few hundred dollars. None of the casual ps2 owners who bought the ps2 from $130-$200 would ever think of buying a $600 console.

TBH, I sometimes question the PS2 fanbase!!! A console that has sold twice as many than the ps1 and all consoles to come!!! A brand console that sold over 100million in two generation is really gives Sony an achievment that wasn't possible before!!! But I wonder, why are there still people buying the ps2 other than the Wii, 360, and PS3???

So here is my question, is there really a 100 million fanbase of ps2 owners or are they the same consumer that are replacing there old ps2's with the slimline version??? I don't know if they are holding out on a price drop or if they are waiting for the good games on the ps3 or they just want to move on out of the playstation brand and move somewhere else like the xbox360???

From what I understand, it's not the end of the world; it's just the end of the calendar.

LOL! By that time the next xbox will be out. And as cheap as the wii is I'd expect ninty to release a better version of that as well (GC3).
