yeah, last few stores I went into have large signs saying "IN STOCK" like they really want people to know, all had both models, not sure it's a flop until I see sales figures though, and what was expected to sell, but a real kick to the balls would be a repeat of 2006/2007 when after New Years there were reports of floods of returns on PS3s because people were trying to scalp them on Ebay and such when there was no demand, and when they couldn't sell them they returned them, wonder if we'll see a repeat of that this yearlamprey263
I wouldn't doubt it, I've seen tons of them on ebay not selling.

It is surprising people actually buy a system like WiiU after Wii

I would never buy a system after a 250 euro one that only has 3 games i like, Wii was a disaster and WiiU is something i would only buy at 99$ and i would still feel bad about it

With a huge cost of 300$, graphics worst than the 7 years old xbox 360 and a terrible future, since it will not play any true next gen game in 2014, i dont see how anyone would buy a system like that

I tried to buy my Wii U from GameStop but they prettymuch told me no. To be more accurate, they said that I had to be on the waiting list and to get on the waiting list I had to jump through hoops like signing up for one of their programs that I'm probably never going to use. I went to Toys R' Us the next morning and bought one without hassel and got 30% off two games. GameSpot is the reason I don't preorder games anymore. I preordered Tales Of Symphonia for the GC and not only did they sell my preorder, they refused to give me back my money. To make things more interesting, I went to Target later that day and was able to buy a copy off the shelf with no drama. To put it in other words, GameStop sucks! I don't understand how they're in business.
