Why are people taking this article seriously? :?

Sony announces the official price of the PlayStation 4, Half-Life 3 confirmed as a console exclusive, and Microsoft officially announces and details the Xbox 720, THIS IS NICKS GAMING VIEW!

Hello everyone and welcome to Nicks Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. Less than two months after the announcement of Sonys PlayStation 4, Sony has officially announced the price of the base and premium model for North America. Priced at the reasonable prices of $799 and $899, Sony considers the price point of the PlayStation 4 as very conservative and expects the demand to far exceed supply at the price assigned to the all-new PlayStation experience.

With PlayStation 4 launching this Holiday Season, PlayStation fans around the globe are eagerly waiting to get their hands on Sonys upcoming console, but unfortunately the hardware will not power Valves ongoing project. Officially announced, Half-Life 3 will not be making an appearance on any Sony or Microsoft platform including PC, but will launch as an exclusive on Nintendos Wii U. When asked about this decision, Gabe Newell strongly backed the decision by emphasizing the need to utilize the innovative tablet controller with enhanced motion sensing capabilities. Gabe claims he doesnt understand the frustration thanks to the amazing power of the Wii U giving it the ability to produce High-Definition graphics!

Wrapping up Nicks Gaming View, Microsoft has announced the PlayStation 4s competition, officially titled the Xbox 720, but rather than being shaped like a box or even being a console, the hardware is solely implemented within the all-new camera. Not to be called the Kinect 2.0, Microsofts Xbox 720 will launch with Netflix Plus, Hulu Premium, and the almighty YouTube Elite enriching the entertainment experience. Already seems like a winner to me, but Microsoft announced a megaton by announcing The Awakening of Milo. Bringing the child many lonely human beings across the world wished to interact with back to life, gamers around the would will now have their very own virtual kid who will satisfy ones very needs and provide a truly interactive experience. Pricing has yet to be announced, but dont expect the almighty hardware to release at the insanely cheap price point of the PlayStation 4.

[QUOTE="timbers_WSU"][QUOTE="Chris_Williams"] XB1 will no way be just 300 unless they have some kind of subscription model, that kinect technology is not cheap.Chris_Williams
Microsoft does not need to make money off the console. They just need to get it out to people. Their revenue will come from other places. Sony doesn't have that luxury without their stock holders stepping in. And if the PS4 is really that much stronger than people claim? (I am not a tech head so I really don't know.) Microsoft will have to take more risk at launch.

... Microsoft does not need to make money off the console? Did you seriously just write that?

Ummm..... he's right.

If you understood the industry you'd know this too.
