Yes, that's exactly what I said because that is exactly what the kid implied. That someone would spend a thousand dollars to build a pc to run indie games. So I laughed to myself and commented that it wouldn't take a thousand dollar pc to run those games. Then  you got all pissy for w/e reason and decided to defend your boyfriend.

lol the most popular genre on consoles today is a pc genre funny i was console gamer obsessed with pc fps in early 90s and would play any pc fps port out there on any platform now everyones just now being about what i was about back in the day.

I have to admit that it takes some getting used to the control scheme to play Ultima Underworld (the first one) and System Shock (the second one).

But System Shock 2 (the third one) is still perfectly playablke today - I bought it few days ago from GoG.com for 10 bucks because I never managed to finish it before and Im near the very end of the game now, its absolutely awesome and very few games this gen come close to the fun Im having with it. Its a survival horror game and its genuinely scary unlike any game I played this gen (although level 3-1 in Demons Souls comes close).

Deus Ex (the last one) is widely considered to be one of the best games ever made. I have to agree with that statement, its a stealth action game that is simply brilliant gameplay-wise.

I strongly recommend trying System Shock 2 since you can buy it for ten bucks and it is optimized for modern PCs and runs great. I can guarantee you will have gaming experience that you will remember till the end of your days.

How can people say the games aren't any good? Mulitiwinia, Defcon and Uplink are amazing games. Those three alone make this a good deal.

Pc is cool and all but when you have issues on it they are big......One of my mice just died recently im pissed lol.

Logitech will replace your mouse for free if it breaks, no matter how long you've had it. My G5 was two years out of warranty and they sent me a brand-spaking new G500 a while back, didn't even have to ship the old one to them.

That won't happen with MS or Sony controllers, you can bet on that.
