what difference does it make?
gamestop was sold out of x1s a week ago.

1000 xbone units per sotre cannot match ps4's 10k or so per store. GOOGLE it. No company has EVER met demand for new console launches. Well maybe except for WiiU haha. Neither Sony nor MS will be able to produce anything close to resembling what the demand will be. This has been proven so don't believe anything Sony says with regards to the number of launch units. Â
Why not? PS4 is much simpler than the X1, so its easier to produce.
PS4 APU is 3billion transistors made of CPU+GPU (secondary ARM chip, audio chip and video chip separate from the APU)
X1 APU is 5 billion transistors made of CPU+(GPU+32mb eSRAM)+data move engines+Audio decoder
AMD said already that its the 1st 5 billion transistors they are making and the most complex APU they have made so far, so having yield issues is no surprise to anyone. Until they work out a way to make the APU with better yields, the amount of units available will be smaller than the PS4.
