Microsoft needs to do more of this. If this is a console " war" then big boy moves like this need to be made - especially when you're losing. Of course it'll make it to PC though , but we all know PC is not the X1's main competition right now.

Yeah, but that's irrelevant, Rise of the Tomb Raider is a SEQUEL. They bought a previously announced SEQUEL that people were already looking forward to, fans of the franchise on OTHER PLATFORMS.

You mean from business standpoint? Yes and no. From MS: yes. But it makes no sense for SE to accept the offer. They are literally losing money there, no question.

I guess publishers these dyas are SO low in self esteem and confidence in their own releases that taking a smaller upfront pay is more important than higher, ambitious amounts of success.

But as you know, business is not OUR prerogative. We are the consumers, we voice our opinion in the hopes that it will change something. Money is one thing; relation with your customer is another. Something that people are beginning to forget these days.

Oh Joe, that was awesome! Gotta love this guy, and he's 100% correct. Not that sony hasn't done the very same thing to other game devs though. ALL OF THESE FUCKERS (devs/pubs and console makers) are basically money vampires hunting for the biggest bag of blood (money). Keep that in mind at all times.

I'm not a big TR fan and I own an Xbone and 360, so I'm not worked up about the new TR coming to 360/Xbone.

yeah that was pretty good but i hated the reboot so much that i stopped playing after ~2h and that is something that never happen with any game. worst purchase in years. the exclusivity of this title says f*ckall to me but those who care, its probably a timed exclusive because there's no such thing as true exclusivity outside Halo spam and Forza spam when it comes to MS consoles.
