edit: LMAO, my above comment was a joke. turns out...it was correct:

This April 16th, grab your mask, a few friends, and get to a local sony store by you. Use the IRC and the official Facebook page to organize a protest in your area. Make sure the people know the injustices performed by this corrupt company.
Boycott all sony products and if you have recently purchased any, return them.

Why don't these nerds just get a life and realize how irrelevant their petty hatred of Sony is.

permits would only work for a public place. so the store has the right to ask them to leave, if they don't cops can come, and they can get arrested...also they call themselves annonymous, yet they join a facebook group with there real facebook account...not the smartest people

Lol, a few people loitering outside a store, SOny is shaking in their boots... If anything, this might actually improve sales, more people might come to SOny stores to see if anything exciting happens. Regardless this will do very little to nothing, and I hope they arrest them.

What if someone that does not even own a console just heard the news and was curious so they checked out a video? Well now Sony has their name and IP address. You may be fine with that but I am not.

Judge: those are against the rules/Law
Sony: SCREW THE RULES WE HAVE MONEY!

Here's what I propose:

To the millions of people who bought a copy of black ops for PS3, go to these stores, smack these idiot hackers around, and then demand that they give you your $60 back for the game you couldn't enjoy online thanks to their actions:twisted:

I'm sure Sony is scared to death of people sitting in their tiny stores that no one shops at in the first place.

Sorry bud. You need a permit to protest...otherwise...

Most stores have a defined area of Private property usually you have to go quite a ways from the store to be out of that zone, and as you can see from the picture the one protestor already there is inside the store I do not believe the boycott page says outside of the store but your local sony store. One can protest on public property if they have a permit in most states *some states require permit some dont* but no one can protest on private property at all in any state that I know of.

[QUOTE="rybe1025"][QUOTE="Da_lil_PimP"] Obviously you don't know his past posting history.WilliamRLBaker

I am just not a fan at all about the way Sony has acted and no one should be. It is scary how they got all the info from youtube, his website, his paypal and other sites. What if someone that does not even own a console just heard the news and was curious so they checked out a video? Well now Sony has their name and IP address. You may be fine with that but I am not.

they got it legally and their lawyers got it. ITs not like Sony went to a judge and said
Sony:Hey we need this information, and this information, and this information oh and perhaps some animal sacrafices in our name?
Judge: those are against the rules/Law
Sony: SCREW THE RULES WE HAVE MONEY!
Judge: oh why didn't you say that first? here you go this peice of paper gives you the right to go into George hotz home and touch his cats and break his Toys and other such things.
Sony: sweeeeeeeeeeeetttt...

ok and? So because one judge said it was ok we should all be fine with it? Also yes it does have to deal with money because a company like Sony can have a pretty intense legal team to find loop holes. Do you think the average person can hire a lawyer to get anything close to that? I feel this is clearly violating rights because of loopholes it may be legal but ethically it is wrong.

Like I was saying before say I do not own a game system but I saw this on the news so checked to see what it was about. Sony then would have my personal info because they wanted it. If the case went further a person like that could be wrapped up in some legal case just for checking out some news. Sony was so worried they went on some crazy witch hunt. Hotz or Anon did not get personal info at all but it was only Sony.

 yes because lawyers are all unethical jerks like in the movies and there are loads of loop holes like in the movies...Nope the Lawyers under sony didn't go by the book and filed the right paper work and got a subpeona to get the information and not only that it was lawyers eyes only so neither George nor Sony saw the results of the information received because of said subpeona. That seems to be the current excuse as to how it doesn't make any logical sense to make such statements...But Lawyers are all unethical jerks and cheat and steal and sony probably paid off people...etc

Exactly how is it a loop hole if one Wants information and to get said information they must apply for access to said information in a legal method and If the legal channels are followed they are given access to said information that their client cannot see? they can only use said information to set precedent for the case the only people that can see it are the lawyers and the judge?

Some hardcore PS3 fans should show up and defend Sony's honor. They could have an epic battle to the death.
