[QUOTE="UrlacherMLB54"]virtual tenis sucks. Go play it in real life.air0123Wow great arguement, with that logic, why play football games, basketbal game, hockey games, or even baseball game? Oh thats right, because we aren't professional athletes. Doesn't stop my teachers from forcing me to play them in gym!
honestly, who buys or even plays a tennis gameZeph_Da_Bomb
honestly, some time ago, cows were saying "ps3 will have better graphix for virtual tennis! xbox will be pwned!"
no looks like it's the cows that are pwned
virtual tenis sucks. Go play it in real life.UrlacherMLB54i think thats besides the point. if sony wants too push their online component then they better start pushing for more games too support online functions.
virtual tenis sucks. Go play it in real life.UrlacherMLB54Try it. It is very addictive. It is also very easy to pick up and play.

and look at this part which is very important
One of the big differences between the Xbox 360 and the PS3 versions is that the Xbox 360 version supports online. That is, it's fully Xbox Live compatible with various modes of play, leaderboards, Achievements and GamerScore points. The PS3 isn't online. Simple as that.

So..........doesn't make the game any less fun......so try again..........

Actually it does because its fun to beat your friends and the computer around for a while, but online is where it is at. It just makes the game last longer.

I know a sheep isn't talking about Online because of the 3 the Wii is by far the worst..............
you do understand that the game is mediocre on both systems, having online functionality doesnt really help poor game playMorisUkunRasik
You do understand that the same games for both systems will always have the 360 scoring higher just for online functionality alone.? PS3 fans dont wanna play any of their games online? Bu bu but whats teh purpose of a next gen system with no online play?!! PSN FTW!!!

Agreed. It isn't a big deal because it is tennis. However if you played the dreamcast version of the game you could see why some people would like it.[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"][QUOTE="Ericvon71"][QUOTE="YourExpert"]Read this on Virtual Tennis 3 at ign

Online functionality is online functionality. Its no excuse why a PS3 game shouldnt have online play. All of them should come online enabled bottom line.Â

It is not about the games. It is about home and being able to spend money on furniture. Home is a cool concept, but they need to work on the actual online component first.[QUOTE="MorisUkunRasik"]you do understand that the game is mediocre on both systems, having online functionality doesnt really help poor game playMagical_Zebra

I understand that and for that reason alone Sony needs to wise up. But I believe its better proven with smoething like Project 8 which had 360 online support and was a great game. A bunch of mediocre games with or without online functionality really does nothing for either systems.[QUOTE="Magical_Zebra"][QUOTE="MorisUkunRasik"]you do understand that the game is mediocre on both systems, having online functionality doesnt really help poor game playMorisUkunRasik

Do you read before you post, I agreed ocmpletely that the ps3 version should have online play. There is no excuse for no ps3 online play, but I believe the core interest is teh game itself make a stellar game then online functionality. There were great games before online functionality and being able to go online does not make or break a game its an enhancement, but enhancing something that isn't anything special to a level of meh seems useless. Sega should have made a better game.[QUOTE="Zeph_Da_Bomb"]honestly, who buys or even plays a tennis gamekillaj2786rockstar's table tennis was popular... rockstar's tabletennis was also a good game

You can zip past people who are just cruising and engage in mass races. The depth added to that "OK" game because of the online makes it a worthwhile buy....
