"Microsoft hasn't returned Tiffany's XBox 360 for four months because they think she is a thief, even though she has her original receipt and a credit card statement proving that she is the console's rightful owner. Microsoft repaired the XBox back in January and tried to return it via FedEx, but a shipping snafu landed the box back at Microsoft's service center. Tiffany has called repeatedly. She even sent a letter to Microsoft's legal department, after sending her receipt and statement, asking how else she could prove ownership. That was 22 days ago. She has yet to receive a response."

Of course she will. Unfortunately it will take something like this to get Microsoft to act. Ridiculous.

Why does MS continually create bad press for themselves? Jeez, with thier hardware failure, Id think they would at least want to treat the customer right in this department.

You know, a lot of these "big bussinesses" treat the customer like a pile of *****. A few months back, I recived an automated phone call from my bank claiming the car payment I sent them was only partial and insisted that I pay the remainder or else they would put a bad mark on my credit. I made payment in FULL, on time just like I do every month, so I called them to set it staight. The ignorant urban lady on the other end insisted the payment I sent was $50 and not $500. I corrected her while looking at the carbon copy in my checkbook. I told them it was THIER mistake and that they needed to fix it asap. Not only did she deny responsibily on thier end she accused me of making a mistake. I told her I only write 6 checks and month not to mention I was looking directing at my CC in the checkbook. I asked her if it seemd more likely that thier payment center made a mistake since they handle 1000's of check and I only do 6 per month. I got no where with her, so I asked for her supervisor. She said "He will just tell you the same thing I did".........from there I went into a rampage telling her how her company needs to take personal resposonsobility when they make a mistake, apologize to show the customer they are important to thier sucess and work on her over-the-phone people skills.

Long story short, I got charged $15 to do an over-the-phone check transfer for a payment I already made in full. I got accued of shorting the, I got accused of making a mistake, etc. Bottom line, is that big companies dont care about thier customers only the customers money! Within 2 weeks I bought out the remainer of my car loan with my credit card with an excellent 2.9% interest rate and will never recommend CAPITAL ONE AUTO FINANCE to anyone!

Sorry for the rant, but that felt good.

Happens all the time unfortunetly. My friend just had Bell and Rim accuse him of stealing a blackberry dispite him having the same information as this person.
