[QUOTE="Pete-B"]It all makes sense now! you like getting abused/humilliated, this would be the ultimate assault on your dignity. I knew you were a freak the moment I laid eyes on you... but this be too much. D={freedomfreakI sure don't mind a bit of whipping and spanking

One thing I noticed in OPs video is how the footage is only about stand still landscapes and the characters are completely stopped. If it showed the characters in motion the framerate would probably low to unplayable levels
I'll throw a couple of mine in here.
These we taken on my desktop with these specs
Athlon II x4 @2.8
GTXÂ 560ti
4GB DDR2
550 watt psu
7200rpm hard drive
This is nowhere near a high end rig, after limiting the framerate to 30fps to stop fluctuation, it was very playable.
I watched at 1080p and saw nothing impressive.
zzzzzzzz PC gamers making things up now?
KillzoneSnake
Â
The video is not in 1080p, I know that is how it is listed on youtube but if you think the 1080p it shows is anything even close to how 1080p actually looks like in game, well then you clearly don't know what 1080p looks like in such a game.

Is that Visual Immersion III?
I want to play in a world looking like that with a great functioning Oculus Rift, 3D tactile mouse and candy. I would freak out a little if I would look down and see my armour being like that, though!
[QUOTE="princeofshapeir"][QUOTE="FragTycoon"]My rig didn't cost 2k. :| I don't think anybody's here did. My PC (rig? it's just a box of parts) did, which is odd, given that PC gamers insist that I must be poor. We've already concluded you're either inept or a relentless troll.I see this is another "I can get a gaming rig for $200" and then post pics from a 2k rig (when you bought it) post.
Yippy! ;)
There will always be a market for consoles and will continue to compete with PCs for the simple fact that PS3 games work in every PS3.... same for 360, same for WiiU.
Computer gaming quality/experience depends on the comp you have. You can ignore that fact but its still true.

Cognitive dissonance at its finest. When confronted with something that conflicts with one's own internal beliefs, draw whatever conclusion is necessary, no matter how baseless or speculative, in order to restore harmony. You can throw around the jargon you memorized from your AP Psychology class all you want, but it's abundantly clear that 1) spending $2k on a PC must mean you're aiming for SLI/Xfire or a multi-monitor setup (i.e. you're going for overkill especially if you're trying to run Skyrim with any ENB), and 2) you have a penchant for derailing threads with obvious bait.

That's nice but you could also get two consoles for that price.
yeah, but 1 PC has about 100x more games than any two consoles. Or any 3 or 4 or 5 consoles, for that matter.
so your games could suck twice as bad a they already do?? lol[QUOTE="buccomatic"][QUOTE="GD1551"]

Tombraider seems to be working on all consoles, doesn't seem that way for alot of PCs.
Â
Every game released recently had day 1 glitches. Even on consoles.
People who play on console don't care that a nice gaming rig maybe play some games on it stop comparing consoles with pcs just pointless and silly.no console (this gen or next) can compete with that.

Are you really this stupid? 16GB's of RAM. Skyrim is a 32-bit app. It won't use more then 2-4GB's of RAM. SSD does nothing for performance other then faster load time. The fact that he's running a Youtube channel pretty much explains why he needs these things.and you only need a set up like this to be able to play at a frame rate that isn't a slide show..
System:
Intel i5-2500K@4,3GHz
NVidia GTX 680 OC GPU Boost @ 1200MHzÂ
16GB DDR3
120GB SSD for Win7 64
60GB SSD for Skyrim
1TB HD 7200rpm
(from new egg) only running you...
1. CPU: (for even the 3.3 version) $2202. GPU: $460
3 RAM: $112
4. SSD: $60
5. HD: $80
Total = $932

I have a hard time with mods because 1. Alot of them are a pain to install and 2. They tend to be very very glitchy. But that does look beautiful graphics wise. if I wanted to stare at something then I would definitely be interested.
Puckhog04
mods are a pain to install? when was the last time you tried installing one? these days it's a single click and if it's not it requires you to drag a file or two around.

hey you still got a select few mmos and rts that the superior console race could give 2 sh**s about

Not necessarily. Not everyone is interested in mods. Â It's fine to show what you think adds value to the platform, but don't assume that others will assess it the same way that you do.Even people with Intel 3000 laptops would rather play skyrim with mods at 800x600 than buy a console.

You cant call the PS4 crappy hardware if nothing on PC compares graphically to the Killzone/Deep Down trailer they showed. Games are not $80 dollars...AND you already spent much more $ on your PC then any consolite will ever spend I'd rather spend $600 on a kickass PC that will crush consoles, that I can upgrade later if I want, and buy games that are anywhere from $5 to $40 then buy an over priced console that has games that are no cheaper than $60. Thats alot more money spent on the console side on games alone. Have a nice day :)That's nice but you could also get two consoles for that price.
