Hello, Gamemaster, I shall help you out. Sorry, I took awhile, I couldn't find my cape! :P
SolidTy
LOL solidty to the rescue. :P
The only question I have is, is this the sorce code apart of Unreal Engine. Or better yet...does this code fragment show up in Mass Effect 1.Hello, Gamemaster, I shall help you out. Sorry, I took awhile, I couldn't find my cape! :P

Hmmmm... Didn't this same thing happen with Bioshock? But didn't a member of Bioware say that ME2 was Microsoft exclusive? Juggernaut140
im thinking the exact same thing too. they even deny it but after 8 months kaboom. :P

But a representative of Irrational Games never said that Bioshock was exclusive.Yea because you actually played the game :roll:. As for topic I hope it comes out to the PS3. Everyone should get the chance to play the series.Microsoft can keep em. I prefer bug-free games.

That's a good question. :?
Who can say for sure what the heck is going on..it's just another interesting thing some dudes found out, I guess. 8)
I just came to this thread for the "Helping out SW in a Kingly/Heroic Way" Gamespot Emblem for my GS profile and the amazing "Thanks for the Link!" Glory ( :lol: ), I don't know if that kind of Glory really exists, but I want it. :P
I came to help this party...but I'm staying for the delicious chips and dip.

Occasional crashes?
I've put over 20 hours into ME2 and haven't had a single crash.

No, it's only in Mass Effect 2 (I checked every .ini in ME1). Another examples:

Hey, I know that song. That's not how it goes...
Don't you mean, "What's LOVE got to do with it?"
Perhaps EA's LOVE of platform agnostic sales, and the additional PS3 install base has something to do with this ME rumor business.:P
Or maybe not, Perhaps I'm just channelling Ike.:lol:
They should, this game deserves as much attention as it could getsalxisIf they wanna bring it to PS3, they should have a "Mass Effect Box" that contains both games.

Well then, a port looks pretty likely =/ Its stupid but whatever. Let PS3 owners play without the satisfaction of porting a character from ME1[QUOTE="sayonara89"]

I'm reading EA has movie plans, and I'm sure they want to expand the audience of this game as far as possible.
I would only be interested in this game if the first one came to PS3 as well, I'm not one to jump into sequels, unless they have nothing to do with the original.
After playing 11 hours into ME2 i couldnt even begin to describe how lost gamers would be without playing the first one. Theres so many references and even NPCs from side quests that you did from the first one in the second. If they were to port it over (which i highly doubt for those exact reasons) im highly curious as to how they would pull that off.bigboss5akRockstar published GTA Double Pack (GTA 3 and Vice City) on Xbox in december 2003, EA could do something similiar with ME :)
The worst I've had was getting stuck on a doorway or on a platform, but those only happened a few times (although restarting my last save did get annoying :x). I'm on my second playthrough, and those glitches never happened twice :D.Microsoft can keep em. I prefer bug-free games.

My games bugged out on me twice, and my game crashes when i try to run it full screen, i have to play it in windows mode without the border, which looks the same as fullscreen anyway... :?Microsoft can keep em. I find it funny that i always see ps3 fans hoping for releases of xbox and pc games on their system, even if it is a year late. Comes across a little desperate tbh, by then the game will be old news. If you really want to play this game, just get it on the 360 or PC.AnjunaddictHow can you interpret hope as desperation in context of this particular matter? I hope i will get some nice presents for my birthday. Does that equate to me being desperate about my wishes? No, ofcourse not. I think you're just intepreting this in a way that will fit to serve your own gleeful purposes. I'd also like to point out that the level of enjoyment one can derive from a game, has little to do with when the game in question was released. Which gamer worth her salt honestly gives a crap about it being "old news"?

The reason people wanted it on the 360 was because back when it was all the PS3 had it would've been the pinnacle of ultimate internet lulz that probably would never be topped for at least a decade.
Most UE3 engine games have PS3 code left in. This means nothing. They do this to all UE3 games :DHaxxySax_6666Becouse most of UE3 games are on PS3 ;) Mass Effect 1 is UE3 game and dont have "PS3" word in .ini files.
Also, something like this is releated to game itself, not engine:
m_srSpendTalentPointsMessagePS3 =? 348,755
m_srParagonRenegadeMessagePS3=15?3007
I would recommend the PC version to everyone since it is mod friendly and have better graphics than the console version. Not to mention better gameplay, but thats a matter of taste imo. Anyway, if you dont have a decent PC or a 360, you should have the chance to play this great game on PS3, so I'm for a PS3 version just so everyone could play this game. It's my favourite this far in 2010 and I believe its going to stay that way unless GoW3 proves me wrong.

ME2 and Splinter Cell conviction are always brought up, I even saw a thread there about Alan Wake probably going to the PS3. Which if you ask me is ridiculous considering MS is funding the development and publishing the game.

It can just as easily be intepreted as desperate people having a tendency to voicing their concerns on the matter, a thesis i find far more likely to be the case this time around.
