Hmmmm... Didn't this same thing happen with Bioshock? But didn't a member of Bioware say that ME2 was Microsoft exclusive? Juggernaut140
Yes, but later a member said it was only launching on 360 and PC.

Microsoft can keep em. I prefer bug-free games.

ME2 is pretty bug free. cant say the same for ME1 though lol.

Ya it is, but a couple things have happened to me.

I'm in the game about 25 hours and have run into a few bugs such as randomlyfloating up in the air and getting stuck or loss of sound in some cut scenes. It has never crashed, but I had to restart everytime I'd float off and get stuck. Even with these few bugs though I enjoy ME2 over ME1. I've been very happy with ME2. As far as the PS3 getting it, I guess that would be great for more people to be able to play another great game added to this generation of games.

That's my entire issue. Casey Hudson, which was the ME2 producer / project leader and lead programmer (also project leader of SW MMO) stated in an interview with with RPGFAN that ME2 is PC / 360 and that they have exclusivity with Microsoft. There aren't many guys higher up in Bioware than him. I couldn't imagine him coming out and specifically saying "we have exclusivity with Microsoft." if that wasn't the case. He would have said "We have no plans to bring ME2 to the PS3 at this time."

Just another option, but could it be that ME2 was a planned multiplat that Microsoft then was able to negotiate a deal to secure exclusivity with? Might explain any legacy PS3 data that they simply forgot to take out.

Would make more sense to bring the first mass effect over to the ps3 if they are going to bring ME2. While it's a stand alone game, it really helps to know what happened in the first one since the games are a linked trilogy.

this is one in particuar look at the talent point area...isnt that a part of the games actual structure and not of the engine? why code for the PS3 when you supposidly dont plan to make it on Ps3...cause im pretty damn sure thats an actual reference to the game's actual gameplay.

Just saying im not too bothered bout ME2 sue me but that is some decent proof imo.
