The 360 version is unplayable online too. The online lag is crazy. you can see the state of both conections during the game. Even if both conections are great and you have a full bar at the top of the screen it still lags.

I don't get the joke that the anti-Sony fanboys are talking about. Cows are not supposed to call developers lazy because they can't get a game to run properly on the PS3? Their logic is because Konami also publishes MGS4 (although different developers).

Uhmm...last I checked, the developers for MGS4 have had nothing but praise for the PS3 hardware and the game seemingly runs smooth. Even going so far as to disobey Konami's request to port the game to 360.

Yet Sony haters would have us ignore the positive devs, and only listen to the developers that make a game that runs poorly?

Seems like the joke is on the haters. Especially since they don't know the difference between developers and publishers, and don't seem to realize that devs making a big game run smoothly trumps a dev that can't...especially when it comes to hardware capabilities. It's like only listening to somewhat that says a certain car doesn't go a certain speed...while ignoring the people who are actually displaying with evidence that their car can and DOES go that fast.

They want us to ONLY read the positive reviews from developers who say things like "Will NEVER be on 360" or "In 5 years the PS3 and Blu-Ray will REALLY shine" or "All this space is needed to fit my entire game idea onto one disc"to warrant the reasons of owning one so they can sleep at night knowing they have the bestest console out there? The door swings both ways.

I love it when fanboys go off on insane tangents. What does that have to do with anything? What do I care what other fanboys do in other threads.

I responded to the claim at hand and addressed the illogical statement made by the tc. He said cows can't use the lazy dev comment because it is a Konami game...implying the PS3 hardware just sucks. He then mentions MGS4. Yet MGS4 is a konami game AND it looks and runs great and Kojima loves the PS3 hardware.

I have rebutted the tv with relevant facts. Your comments are irrelevant to this topic.

Nah, man...I checked it out and it is true (not as bad, but there nonetheless) .

I went to pesfan.com and the lag issue on the 360 is also a problem.

The framerate issue is still a problem on the PS3 though.

Konami dissapointed me with last year's 360 Winnin Eleven. In this case, we might have a case of lazy (or stupid) devs after all.

If you're a huge fan of Pro Evolution soccer, and you don't have any of the next-gen consoles yet, then you should get the Xbox 360 version.

This is quite a schock since Konami announced the PS3 was supposed to be the lead platform for this game. That's pretty nuts that in the end they couldn't even get the lead platform to have the same frame-rate as the 360 version. In this generation, the ps3 is supposed to have superior technology and the 360 is supposed to be the one that is in the position where things are 'dumbed down' for it.RIZDRAVER

The Sony marketing machine has done its job well if you and most others believed this. Remember when they were also touting how the PS2 would have "Toy Story" graphics?

If Sony can say something as silly as "The Playstation 3 is 4D" which, by the way, Kutargi went on the record to say, then I would not put it past them to say that the predecessor, the PS2, would have "Toy Story" graphics. The beauty of that is that it's all relative and Sony can get away with it completely. They can't be sued for an exaggeration. It happens all the time.
