[QUOTE="AdobeArtist"][QUOTE="arabi_89"][QUOTE="Kane04"] [QUOTE="Verge_6"]Because it isn't 600 smackers, for one. I don't know who is going to win this console war, but at the rate things are going, the 360 has a much greater chance than the PS3.shungokustasu

Ownage approved!
More like SELF ownage there on Kane's part. This FLAWED argument is the ONLY thing sony fanboys have to counter X360's price advantage. And despite the fact that is NEVER works, they'll keep on using it. the HD DVD, Wi Fi adapter and Quick Charge kits are NOT requirements - but this must be TOO SIMPLE for them to understand  You can buy the Pro version and game right out of the box. Most of them have game bundles, plus 3 months Live trial so you can download tons of demos to try out. With the PS3, you still have to buy a full game.
What 360 fans fail to realize is, when people start to compare(keyword) the 360 to the PS3 then the price point makes sense. Sure, the extra stuff is not needed for gaming. From a simple stand point of which system offers more for less clearly the PS3 wins.
And since the number of people who have an HDTV is still at less than 20% (a year ago when this was discussed the stat was at 15%, so couldn't have gone up by that much), so how many people NEED a hidef movie player in their gaming console? I connect to live with ethernet cable and.... you're NOT gonna believe this but it actually WORKS :o
I'm not saying PS3 isn't priced accordingly for what it offers, but the flawed logic of Sony fanboys is, that all that stuff is NEEDED. It isn't and for the MAJORITY of gamers who don't need it, they want to save money on features they won't use.Â
