If Madden 06 was multiplat, but EA decided to put Madden 07 just on Xbox360. Would Madden 07 consider an exclusive?

Yup as long as it's not on PC and the only system you can play it on.[QUOTE="whoisryanmack"][QUOTE="cyprus646"]Yes because there made a year apart and they have differnt names :roll:Shusty_lives

Eventhough Madden 06 is very similar to Madden 07 with update content and graphics, we will still consider Madden 07 an exclusive to the Xbox360?

as most sequels contain updated content, and better graphics, yes it is exclusive.
NOW make a point!

Explain to me why Ninja Gaiden Sigma is not an exclusive then?

Um...I didn't say it wasn't?
...but if we're now starting this, I might say that football is inherently going to contain essentally the same game. It's the premise of the genre. They can't suddenly decide one year there's going to be 2 balls in play, and 4 endzones. An adventure type game though, should necessarily have a new adventure to be a "new game". I guess technically, it could still be exclusive, but it's shaky at best.

So you saying that multiplat and exclusivity is not based on who its made for, but what it's consist of?

Well, RE4 is a port. I would like to also add that Twin Snakes, Onimusha G. are also exclusives. Based on what the data I collected.

No, 07 is on PS3 and computer and PS2 and Wii and Xbox...[QUOTE="whoisryanmack"][QUOTE="Shusty_lives"]Explain to me why Ninja Gaiden Sigma is not an exclusive then?

Well, I'm saying that the proof your using isn't exactly relateable. You're saying that because Madden has essentially the same gameplay year to year, that NGS can get by with the same and still be exclusive. It's just a hard argument to make because football is never going to change.
...and actually, the really big change that is necessary for sports games is rosters. That is the change that would be equal to a new storyline for an adventure game, which NGS doesn't have.
Again, I said, *technically* we can't call it anything other than exclusive simply because it isn't available on another console in it's exact form. It's just weak. If cows are satisfied with remakes as exclusives, then by all means...

"port" means the engine is being ported to that system to make the same game.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is NOT an exclusive. I started the game and went thrugh the first 7 levels knowing where 99% of the stuff is at and how to defeat every boss. I knew this from playing Ninja Gaiden on the XBox.Heil68
You can still score a touchdown by throwing and running the ball in the endzone, right?
