Wah wah wah, such a whiner. U know we used to have 16 bit graphics a little more than 10 years ago? Be thankful for what you have. MGS4 looks amazing.

AA is nice but i really see no need when your playing at 1680x1050 on a 22" monitor.

If your playing 720p on a 40"+ TV ofc your going to see jaggies, its just the way that it is, low res big screen = jaggies.

You use a console on a small TV your barely notice them.

I think higher res is far more important than AA.

I had the same problem with Halo 3 and I just turned down the sharpness setting on my TV. It helped, but the game still looks god awful.

I use an hdmi cable and it really makes a diffrence. I don't notice them on mgs4 or really any other games. If you aren't playing in 720 or 1080, the jaggies can be pretty bad. Especially with fallout 3, one day my ps3 went to original non hd settings and there were jaggies everywhere.

Unless you're sitting all the way across the room, chances are you'll see jaggies.

Higher res helps squash jaggies and sharpen the image at the same time.

I can still see jaggies at 1920x1080 with 8X AA on a 24" monitor.

Then your not playing the game, your looking for jaggies.

I do it all the time, but sometimes you have to repress the graphics whore and remeber that not everything can look perfect, one day though, one day....:P

It's a case of you don't know what you've got until it's gone... or you don't know what you're missing out on until you experience it, plus the fact they have no choice :P Brainkiller05
i play dirt 2 all ultra settings 60 fps on a 5970, whether i set the AA to 4 or 16 even running eyefinity on 2 screens the only difference is frame rate, yet i still never notice jaggies on my ps3. past 2x it only matters in blown up screenshots.... your eyes are relatively low res, if your far enough back that your screen fills less than half your view your eyes can't even detect past 480i.....

Do you really want that though? Do we not play video games to escape reality? IMO, graphics have been fine ever since the PS2/xbox, its not a blurry mess and not extremely blurry. This gen is mostly just the frosting and PC is just pushing it farther.

Your eyes are actually REALLY high res, but yes there are limits, amazing for such small things though.

Not everyone plays video games to escape reality 100% of the time. I love to play flight simulators and the more realistic it is the better.

The second blurry was gonna be a blocky lol. I realize that, but even then it is funny because you want correct physics? Yet if the game looks "bad" they the creators gets complained to. Even if the physics are really good. Like when PC owners say consolized, it only effects the graphics and they don't look horrible now so I never understood the big deal..
