Considering the amount of content in the PS3 version that the 360 version didn't get (which is a ****ton compared to other ports), I'd say it's worth it considering Vesperia is one of the few good console JRPG's this generation.lol I forgot cows had to wait 2+ years for ports to come

I'd say if anything Tales Of Graces for the Wii would be the game with the biggest chance of localizaton at this point. Look on the bright side they'll have more Naruto games for everyone in a few months lol.

Well Microsoft had time exclusivity for the game so, what control did Sony or PS3 owners have? Whether the content is worth it or not is completely depends on the person buying it of course. It you have both systems then by all means get the 360 version for $20 (Amazon.com had it for that much awhile ago) but if you don't want a 360, TOV is one of the few good JRPG's and is worth it IMO.The three best traditional JRPG's are on 360
Lost Odyssey a master piece and better than FF13 by a mile
Blue Dragon why this got bad reviews, its a charming and beautiful looking JRPG, its basically Dragon Quest for the 360
Tales of Vesperia well this is the best Tales game ever made and the story is fantastic and the characters are not annoying, I love Karol

Losy Odyssey is good but overrated as hell IMO. The Dream Sequences that were amazingly written were the best things about the game. The rest is standard stuff. Blue Dragon is nothing more then your standard stereotypical JRPG. Tales Of Vesperia is great though I have it both on the 360 and PS3. Definitely not the best Tales Game ever made IMO.I would actaully wait for next year. Tales of Vesperia was the best Tales game imo just behind Tales of Destiny II (US).
The game just released last year in the UK anyway.
Overall, I'd rather just have a new Tales game, but the way the developer is going...I doubt that.

If anything, Lost odyssey is underrated in my opinion. Looking at the game mechanics of Lost Odyssey closely, there's nothing standard about it if you compare it to all the other JRPGs from this generetion. As for Tales, I'm new to the series so I can't comment. But out of curiosity, what do you think the best Tales game is? If I'm not mistaken, Vesperia is the highest rated Tales game ever.I would actaully wait for next year. Tales of Vesperia was the best Tales game imo just behind Tales of Destiny II (US).

If your keeping you things strictly between console from this generation, sure I'd say Losy Odyssey is better then just "good". Most JRPG'S are poor this generation and in short supply. The JRPG's on the DS however, are just too good and varied this generation (Blood Of Bahamut / The World Ends With You etc....). I personally perfer Tales Of Symphonia to Tales Of Vesperia. I never go by review scores for anything. I still haven't played the PS1 Tales games though. If your keeping you things strictly between console from this generation, sure I'd say Losy Odyssey is better then just "good". I'd actually go the other route and say it was less than good. It was fair. The game has too many "flaws", especially with the battle system that just make the game boring. Searching through rings in the midst of battle could have been handled alot better and fluidly. The only thing that was worth it was the story in some places.
That aside, Try (Tales of Destiny II (US) - Tales of Eternia ( in Jp)) and try Tales of Destiny. Those were some of the best ones and for the PS2 if yu haven't, Tales of the Abyss

For me, LO was better than ToV, which was very dragged out and slow pacing. Battle system was great in Vesperia, but I ended up doing the same combo over and over with no real reason to try other combos.[QUOTE="FlamesOfGrey"] If your keeping you things strictly between console from this generation, sure I'd say Losy Odyssey is better then just "good". The battle system in Lost Odyssey was okay but I didn't really like it. I'd much perfer a system like the one in the Shadow Hearts franchise. The story was good and the dream sequences were amazingly written and were the best part. As for Tales I have the PS2 games and started to play Abyss but got sidetracked when Persona 3 came out. I'm hoping Sony will get on Namco about releasong the PS1 games on PSN and then bringing them to the U.S. even though it isn't likely with how Namco are.

That's what I did, I got tired of waiting. I had the money, so I went out a bought a refurbished 360 with Tales of Vesperia at a nearby Gamestop. The 360 was about $180 and Tales of Vesperia (used) was $50. (And the refurbished 360 came with a second controller! Sweet deal.) I think it was worth it, even though it was just for one game. Well...There's also Splinter Cell Conviction, but that's about it for 360 games I want. I primarily use my PS3 because PSN is free. But Tales of Vesperia is such an awesome game, not quite as good as Tales of Symphonia or The Abyss, but well worth the money. Most of my friends own 360s, but it's a shame that none of them have heard of Tales of Vesperia. It's only the best 360 exclusive.

It's widely known that the 360 got better RPG support from Japanese developers earlier on this generation but now the PS3 has caught up and will probably surpass it very soon.

The studio ghilbi JRPG is the only one I'm really looking forward to on PS3, and I can't think of any other's. The Wii looks to be getting some pretty decent JRPG's, The last story, Xenoblade, Dragon Quest, Tales of symphonia 2 and Grace. When I bought PS3 I was thinking of all the PS2 JRPGs and could not wait for the next gen one's. I just find it odd and annoying that there no where to be found on PS3
