Anybody else disappointed wit the PSX keynote?

Because i am. UC4 was very nice, and the new BB dungeon was cool.

But i didn't see megatons. No new Red dead, or the Capcom ps4 exclusive, nothing.

No new RIME or Ratchet footage, but The Order 1886?

SF5 being cross platform is actually a better thing for PC.

And let's not forget that epic trolling from SE over FF7

I was really enjoying the conference until Square-Enix walked on stage.

Then I didn't want to watch anymore.

Not at all, sfv, kf2, Jaffe's new game, free games from EA, and a total of 2 hours of games being shown off.

I think the SFV leaked announcement hurt the megaton.

P5 got 2 seconds, Square trolled again, the Order and No Man Sky looked meh to mediocre, and tearaway was boring. Still the rest of the show was promising. Plus the indies help.

Not really. Cool new games that we got to look at more, and Drawn to Death looks amazing.

I was approaching this with the same mindset that I approach a Nintendo Direct with, though, so that might have helped.

I was pretty disappointed. Almost everything on PS4 was also announced on PC. There was almost no reason to run out and buy a PS4.

i wasn't expecting bombs to drop all teh time.

What really left a bad taste in my mouth was how they showed footage of TO1886, NMS, Until Dawn and Tearaway, but not games that needed it, like RIME and R&C redux.

Besides UC4 and SF5, it's either games that already released or already had trailers.

And yeah, Drawn to Death does look interesting. BTW, is it full blown PS4 exclusive, or did i miss something?

My assumption is that RnC isn't too far in development yet (Insomniac did just ship SO, and they've been working on DLC since), and we know Rime has been having a troubled development.

I think their big megaton was the SF5 reveal, but obviously that got leaked. Through no fault of theirs.

Ridiculously underwhelming. Sony has practically made their marketing campaign with the PS4 all about overhype and underdeliver.

Uncharted 4 isn't the graphical masterpiece Cows were saying it would be, no major new exclusives, no huge multiplat reveals even, a bunch of boring indie games, and Square Enix basically telling fans to **** off.

Pretty overhyped I'd say. Uncharted and Bloodborne footage was great as expected, Until Dawn surprised me. Order continues to underwhelm. But everything else for the most part was ports of games I can get on PC. The charm of No Man's Sky is wearing off since they've literally shown the same thing since the reveal last year; exploration. Where was Rime, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, The Witness, etc? Jaffe's game looks interesting. The concept is REALLY cool, but the artistic execution looks weird for a shooter, way too much white. At the end of the day it's just an arena shooter.

Shh...cows will forge it into a gargantuan Sony victory steamrolling over firstly and foremostly Microsoft and then Nintendo. It would have been the case even if it had been just Knack 2 shown there.

The only real megaton was the SFV console exclusive and that got leaked before the show. There are suppose to be another announcements though during the event. Look at the schedule. There's a Mystery game and Unannounced Titles as well. Someone said on of the games were Yakuza r though. Not sure how true that is. I was happy about Uncharted 4 and Bloodborne, but disappointed there was no Last Guardian, God of War, Heavenly Sword sequel gameplay, Rime, Helldivers, GT7, Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted Remastered Trilogy, Jak & Daxter sequel, etc... Of course Sony will need to save major announcements for E3 though.

Now Sony has to make an event to announce every little worthless thing, just to get you fanboys creaming for more.

This isn't E3 and since Sony had a piss poor showing there last year I can guarantee that if they do have any major announcements, it will be for there.

At the whole thing? No. I thought it was going great for most of the show.

No, it was sad. Everyone thought FF7 was being remastered for the PS4. It was worth watching for Uncharted 4 and a couple other games, but that's about it. Why the hell did they remaster Grim Fandango & Day of the Tenacle instead of giving us brand new sequels? I was all hyped for a Grim 2 and got shafted. The show was about as good as the E3. Wait too many Indie games once again.

As if it was Microsoft that after getting 6-punch combo of Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Master Chief Collection (scratch it if you like), D4, Dance Central Spotlight and Fantasia all in the span of 2 months, needed something more, compared to Sony with just LittleBigPlanet 3 (add DriveClub if you like). Indeed. I will repeat it 100 times in 100 different threads by the way. So that senseless cows like you will be knocked some sense into.

Street Fighter V, Suikoden 2, Grim Fandango, Yakuza 5, awesome looking Bloodborne footage, and Ultra SFIV on PS4.

I got some neat stuff out of it because I'm not an idiot making expectations and hype out of nothing.

However, if that includes Super/ultra/hyper SF5 "cookies and cream" edition or not, nobody knows.

With that said, it seems cross play might be a big deal for the game. And MS doesn't usually want that, so maybe the issue with SF5 is that, unless MS allows it, they can't have the game.

We don't know. For now, Capcom says, full console exclusive. But nowadays in tis industry, the word "exclusive" is starting to become a joke

Yakuza 5 is coming to the West, that came as a surprise. Therefore, I am quite happy with the conference. However, nothing else really peaked my interest.

Had not the games I wanted (DMC5, DD2 or TLG) but happy to see that UC4, Bloodborne, The Order 1886 and Teraway had a good showing.

The Persona 5 tease was shit on the other hand. There were so many japanese games missing I would have loved to see more of.

keep in mind that the PSX is not over. Has the title says, i'm refering to the Keynote, which seemed to be the best place to expect the big announcements.

However, these might still be revealed latter on at sometime. I don't think we'll get DMC5 or DD2, but who knows

Honestly, if they had even just shown the old TGS trailer (that they released right after this keynote was over anyway :-/) I would have been okay with it. As it stands, we got... a bastardized logo for the game, and an absolutely empty and hollow promise. Yay.

Wut the hell are you talking about? That game kicks ass and delivers in both graphics and gameplay. Plus we are getting closer to the OUT of ORDER: Downdgrade Confirmation 1887 soon. I haven't forgotten.

I liked this far better than E3.

Uncharted 4 game play was incredible. It has me far more excited for the game than the E3 trailer did, though I was excited during the E3 trailer as well.
it was hands down the highlight for me as Uncharted is my favorite series, but there was a lot shown. Enough for everyone with various tastes. There
were even two PSV titles that I'm looking forward too. The first being Time Force and the other being Resident Evil Revelations 2.

I'm getting the PS4 version, but this marks the first time that Capcom has put a Resident Evil game on ANY Sony handheld. Does anyone remember the
Resident Evil Portable announcement for PSP that never came to pass? Yeah, that was it for RE on any Sony handheld until Revelations 2 actually
releases for it. Due to that, I'm fully planning on buying the PSV version of Revelations 2 as well so long as there is a physical copy of it.

Regardless, anyone saying "PS4 has no games" is in denial.
