Anybody else disappointed wit the PSX keynote?

Persona 5 should not have been mentioned at all when they have notthing to show.

Im still suprised we saw nothing of Dragon Quest Heroes or Ys for example. PS was build upon those japanese games and you could see how the crowd reacted to Persona 5 or the SE president at first. Maybe the US devision is just not keen on showing japanese stuff?

The keynote reminded me that I made a good decision keeping my PS3. Besides the huge backlog of games I own and haven't completed (plus my PS Plus collection), it's still getting exclusive localizations.

UC 4 - Looks Incredible

1886 - Looks pretty decent

Bloodborne - Definite buy.

SFV - Definite buy.

Absolutely epic Sony conference:

* The incredible UC4 footage - thanks to all the Xbox fans who claimed the PS4 would never run thos 'CGI level graphics'. Sony couldn't have paid for better PR

* Bloodbourne looking incredible, of course. To finally get a sequel to the legendary Demon's Souls in so short a time is amazing.

* The Order just keeps getting better and better. The people playing the game in person are raving about the gameplay.

* The Yakuza releases are are a wonderful surprise

* Teraway looks just as wonderful on the PS4 as it did on the Vita

* Drawn to Death was a complete surprise and welcome surprise.

Even the hilarious fail by SE with the FFVII announcement was perfect. My worst fear of how badly SE would botch a remake are put to rest.

In other words absolutely no surprise the PS4 is the fastest selling console in history.

Yeah I was, I thought to see games like the new Mass Effect or Red Dead. Anybody but the most ardent Playstation fans should be feeling pretty let down, considering the way they hyped the event up.

this was the best gaming conference in the history of this industry. If you think otherwise then I exhort you to tell us which one do you think was better.

PSX was game after game after game with hardly any talking in-between. If you don't like the games then I think that's a personal issue for having such specific taste for games. Because believe it or not, these conferences are not made only for you.

I was never hyped to begin with. I just wanted to see Uncharted 4 gameplay footage and some more Bloodborne and The Order 1886 wich the conference provided. I was satisfied.

For those who werent, you should have known better than to hype these things after the recent E3/Gamescom/etc conferences fiascos. They are always disappointing

Some of the context sensitive stuff reminded me of the Last of Us reveal trailer, that ended up being somewhat unrepresentative of the final product. Don't get me wrong, UC4 looks nice, but it looks like exactly the same game as UC2 with better graphics.

Not worth purchasing a PS4. Not yet.

The keynote was almost nothing but indie games. Who cares.

Sony had a chance to really give a sucker punch to Nintendo and Microsoft but instead walked into the room, farted, then walked out.

Sony already did that at TGS and Gamescom this year when Nintendo and Microsoft had nothing to show and still have nothing to counter today's event.

If you are a ps4 "fan". If you love playing games on your ps4 primarily and don't do much gaming elsewhere these days, then this was a great conference. Sony showed off a lot of games you'll end up playing

However if you aren't yet "sold" on the ps4.. The conference most likely did nothing for you. They did nothing to maybe perhaps change people's perceptions of the ps4, In terms of the types of games or experiences they'll be offering that differs from the competition.

They showed very few reasons for you to go out and buy a ps4 if nothing you've seen hasn't already pulled you in

My biggest issue with Sony right now is that they seem to be operating right now like it is the 8th year of the PS3 rather than the second year of the ps4. They seem to be assuming people are already sold on it and don't have to do anything different to bring people in

Dude it wasn't E3 it was a damn show to celebrate the PS4 20 years,no conference like that was ever done by sony.

They showed Uncharted 4 actually gameplay which look freaking sick.

SF5 PS4 exclusive and cross platforms play with PC is a damn megaton,you silly lemmings even hyped Dead Rising which was a piece of crap and never on the same pedigree as SF has been.

The only disappointed thing was FF7 the rest was more than find,Sony already had more games coming next year than MS before the show,now they have even more.

Once again 3 of those games can't even be play by most new owners now,because those are Kinect games and they got Kinectless sku,so they need to invest more than $100 to get Kinect + any of those 3 games,which by the way non has even 80 74,77,and 77 lol.

Then FH2 which can be had on 360,and the broken collection,SO floped sales wise even harder than Halo..hahaha

The PS4 got DC,LBP3,Velocity 2X,Samurai warriors The binding of Isaac which has 87 on Meta and hit on November it has higher score than broken collection and higher than FH2 as well..hahaha

Hell Velocity 2X has 86 on Meta to,higher than any of the 3 Kinect games you just name and which a big sector of the xbox one user base can't even play because they have no camera...hahaha

Suikoden 2 coming to PSN finally is the biggest thing I loved from this keynote.

It was pretty much smoke and mirrors. It was basically a hype show and advertisement show to try to get back their fans that were losing interest. With the PlayStation anniversaries, you would think Sony would have given their fans more free things to celebrate but instead they have this hype show advertising things that aren't out yet, wanting you to buy it because greatmess awaits. It was EA that gave away free content but they've been given away things on EA access exclusively via Xbox One. It would have been a megaton if somehow they got BC back but instead they teased you with a PSOne decal stickered on a PS4 so you'll still have to pay again for games you already have. The majority of games they showed were indie and old games. Sony is still trying to milk their glory days.

Sony has a history of pulling this shit. They make a great console- I will never dispute that. You know the games are coming (eventually,) but they do absolutely shitty marketing and events with a few exceptions. I really didn't see anything really noteworthy the needed a show built around it. Press releases would have been just fine. It's nice that it was a chance for the public to get their hands on this stuff but 50 bucks a day is kinda steep.

As usual, people overhype these events and wind up looking like asses. The FF troll was spectacular though- Seriously people, stop asking for the FF 7 remake. Squeenix doesn't give a shit what you want and even if they do, it's obvious they have no fucking clue how to give it to you.

Nope, Uncharted 4 was worth it by itself.

There have been much better Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft E3 conferences then what Sony gave us at this event. That's a FACT. I don 't even have to spin that. This conference was probably slightly worse then Sony E3 this year. The FF VII at the end really killed it. Only megaton was SFV being exclusive. Most of the new announcements were remastered versions of older games (Grim Fandago, Day of the Tenacle, etc) older games coming to Vita/PS4 or Indies.Sure Uncharted 4 was impressive, but really now he WOW everyone was expecting. Bloodborne was more of the same, which isn't a bad thing. Even Sony's big name studios didn't show anything that said, "Wow, that's incredible." I guess they are waiting for the E3 like Microsoft.

Other than Uncharted 4, there was nothing of worth.

SF5 leak was all I needed to hear... also the fact that its coming to PC made it the best part of PSX.

The leak was better than the event itself... everything else was either already announced or already available on another platform.

So no I was not disappointed about the PSX... SFV saved it.
