i prefer ps3 controller, and so does allll the other PC gaming controllers(they are shaped like ps3) ... unless you buy a 360 controller either way.. http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=74984 thats a 350 shaped ps3 controller, my firend has one, and he says it feels very close to the 360 controller thats if you reallly own a ps3 and you want a dif. controller:x The R2 and L2 triggers are just terrible. Why didnt they stick with the Dual Shock 2 norm? Playing killzone 2 with the Ps3 controller made me almost hate the Ps3 itself. The analog sticks are to close together, and everything just felt slow and sluggish. Its to light as well. Anybody else prefer the 360 controller?

lmao wtf? If their controllers are dirty it has nothing to do with the 360 controllers being prone to that more than the PS3 ones. Ridiculous..everybody bashes the ps3 controller, but it's paper light and doesn't get all sticky like 360 controllers.... at all my lemming friends's houses they make me wash my hands before playing 360,, and every time i touch food while we play 360.... it's so stupid lol, but actually necessary. all their analog sticks are all nasty anyway.

It sucks for shooters but good with everything else...
But...It doesn't suck with Shooters. The Triggers are a minor annoyance for some, but they work fine and are fully functional.
Your in the minority my friend. Minority of what. Seems to me that its about dead even ....It's practically the same as the 360 controller. :?IronBassexactly, only real differences is the 360 has that big hunk of a battery pack stuck in the wrong place and the hand grips are longer. Button placement is identical with the dpad and stick the other way round, even the width and height is almost identical. 360 has better triggers ps3 has better dpad, stick placement is opinion.

360 controller is more ergonomic imo. And what do you use more this gen, the triggers or the dpad?
PS3 controller is horrible. It's as if it's not meant for human hands. The shape, and the analogue placement, it's just plain bad, and is uncomfortable no matter how you hold it. YES IT IS.
IMO, the Gamecube controller is one of the best and most comfortable there is (and 360 of course). Anyone in the right mind, and have the brain-capacity to understand comfort, would agree with that.
PS3 controller is seriously uncomfortable ergonomically, if a game requires you to use the triggers it feels so un-natural to use! Playing killzone i had to take regular breaks due to my hands cramping up which effected my enjoyment of the game as a whole! Seriously outdated design which doesn't work anymore!
^This. Best control i ve ever had, maybe you just gotta give it a little more timeNo.
Best control in consoles.

best over all contraoller for any type of game is the ps3 controller period.
360 controller comes a close second but the dpad kills it for me. if the 360 controller had the ps3's dpad then i will preffer the 360 controler but until then the best controller of all time the ps controller
It wouldnt be a issue if the dpad was still the primary way of moving your character instead of the left analog stick why dont they give you options to switch between the two in games... :?
Me neither. I've never grown to liking the controller since PS1 and even the PS2. When I held the PS3 controller at a friends house, it felt lighter but I didnt like the analogs, d-pad, nor the triggers.I've never like the playstation controller, so yes I don't like the ps3 version either.

I have had a grand total of 0 problems with my DS3
the only thingI dislike on the 360 contoller is the Dpad which is somewhat bad because I use it for emulation.
Both are overall fantastic controllers are are better than their predecessor IMO.

They're separate directional buttons. Now the best d-pad is Nintendo's.[QUOTE="DGDG1989"][QUOTE="Renegade_Fury"]
