No and No, I remember looking at pictures of it's games in Game Players magazine and thinking to myself "Those look more like some lame interactive movie than a video game, do not want."
Too many damn consoles were out back then, everybody and their mother released a console in the 90's.
I played a Demo unit in FutureShop once..... RoadRash was the game.VeterngamerRoad Rash for 3D0 was highly regarded as the best one in the series. I had a blast playing it myself. Thats one of the few 3DO games I liked. It also has a port of Wolfenstein 3D called Wolfenstein 3DO, lol. Wolfenstein 3D was a fun game even though it was the very first FPS ever made. I thought it was cool that Hitler was the Final Boss in that game.
I use to have one and at the time i remember really liking it.I had super street fighter 2 turbo, samarai showdown, demolition man,way of the warrior, dragons lair, need for speed, myst, jurassic park, road rash and gex.I had several other games as well but those are the ones that stick out in my mind at the moment.Personally i thought the 3do was a great system for its day and i loved all those games i listed except for way of the warrior and jurassic park. This is kindeve bringing back some memorys and makes me wish i still had that system even though i probably wouldnt like those games as much now as i didnt back then.loudharley
You can probally get one of Ebay or something like that? I saw one on TradeMe (NZ version of Ebay) and it's rare to see anything like that on there so I'm sure there will be at least few on Ebay.

The '80s were not particularly all that great, either. There must have been, literally, dozen or more consoles that were released from just the early to mid '80s.
I still have my 3DO !
Road Rash, Need for Speed (very 1st one in the series) Way of the Warrior ( Naughty Dog's 1st game ) and S.F with the special controllers and the first 3D Madden and Twisted which was a very fun game for all plus other games as well.
Trip Hawkins had me sold on the thing mostly because E.A. ( back when E.A. was awesome !) seamed firmly behind it but that did not last. :?
Way of the Warrior by Naughty Dog and music by White Zombie. My dad bought a 3DO.
we had Road Rash, Need for Speed, Ballz, Gex and sum other's, one of which was a flight game which i loved playing, but i dunno it's name.

that game was awesome, i wish i could play it again:cry:.
I played it but never owned it...
If I remember right I played MK 2 or 3 on it and Resident Evil? I think I played some other games... But I can't remember since it's been ages ago.
I've played it, but never owned one.
I actually have one game for it, but never actually tried it on the console.
I owned one a year and a half ago. The number of US released videogame consoles I have never owned since the inception of the industry offivially now stands at 5: The Vectrex, The Colecovision, The Sega Saturn, the Atari Jaquar and the PS3. I have owned every other system.
I had a tank game, Wing Commander, Madden Football, Space Ace and this strange FMV space game that stared the Asian chick from Wayne's World.
