Anybody regret buying a Playstation 3? (poll)

Well, there is a thread about 360, so is anyone that bought a PS3 instead, now regretting it ?

Since it has not got as many AAA excluisves as 360 so far, or anything like Bioshock, Mass Effect yet, and 360 gets games like Fable 2, Too Human, Ninja Gaiden 2, 2 extra expansions for GTA4, Alan Wake most looking so amazing and out of the ordinary

Also the 40GB models have no BC, and you still can't play your own music in games

I have both actually, and a Wii and a PC

I always had all systems, bar handhelds

well i ended up selling mine after a month...so you know my answerNSR34GTR

I would not sell mine, because of 2009 games, but in 2008 and 2007 was and still is a dissapointment to me, have not touched it or too long, played it too little, and more and more amazing games come to my 360 each passing month

All in all, i do regret a bit buying it so early, 2009 would be better for me

i regret buying one on the release day. ive rarely used it in the first year and if id waited i would of saved 125 pounds (id rather have 125 pounds than BC and slightly bigger HD). but im please i own one for this year

i sold my PS2 a while back

i planned on getting a PS3 with BC

now that those have been more or less fazed out, i actually regret NOT BUYING a PS3

there is some hope though .. i read yesterday that another PS3 model might be coming out with limited BC .. the word 'limited' it a bit worrying though

i guess i can always buy a PS2 again

It'll be the same as the 80gig now. 80gig was actually in stock at amazon, but they sold out again. If you want it I'd wait for the MGS4 one to come out in June, since it comes with DS3 also.

Except you have no XBL, PSN, Wii friend code, or Steam ID that I know of. Really, I doubt you even play (many) video games.

2) Its a blu-ray player (HD DVD is death)

3) BEST line-up this year (I repeat BEST line-up, its not a question of tastes.. PS3 got the best line-up)

5) Online service getting better and FREE of charge

6) MGS IV, FF 13, GT 5 & soon GOW III (nothing comes even close to these... Nothing!!)

For exmple i do not want ANY PS3 title in 2008 much, all are totally indifferent to me

But i would buy ANY system, no matter the cost to play Fable 2, Alan Wake, Too Human, ninja gaiden 2, IMO there is no games on PS3 in 2008 ot 2009 that could touch those titles in any bit

See now why opinion is BASIC, and EVERTHING posted inthis forum is just that, opinion

For exmple my opinion is that PS3 is a shooter/racer lineup mainly, and i consider shooters some of the most linear, boring, and shallow games one could ever play with, while 360 is filled with ground breaking RPG's, that of course are miles better to have

I love my PS3 - got a 60Gb one when they announced that they were phasing out backward compatibility.

My only regret is that I don't have enough time to play it as much as I would like.

You don't need to buy any system to play the games you mentioned, you just need the Xbox360, because all you are is a fanboy... the games you listed will be great, (exept Too human which is overrated) no doubts about that, but come on they surely are nothing compared to the PS3 line-up....

I didnt vote. But I can say that I kind of regdret buying the 360. Been through 2 since launch. I know about 5 other people in my small town that have been through 2-4 360's. They are junk and I hate supporting junk.

IF I wasnt so deep into the 360 money wise....I would buy a PS3 in a heartbeat. They dont have a ton of games yet, but still...Its a better machine all the way around.

I dont hate MS? I use Vista and have never complained.... I complain about the 360 library because its mainly just a clone of the PC's for the most part.

Saying that, I'l throw in Lost Odysee how about that? which I could rent for a week and be done with. Compared to the franchises I enjoyed in the PS2 days continued ... its not really much is it? ( I dont like Ninja Gaiden ... does nothing for me )

so what songs will you be playing when youre playing fable 2? probably something repetitve knowing you.

PS3 has become my main gaming system. So that would be a no. I still like my wii and 360.

I have been gaming since consoles were first created, and I have never owned EVERY console in any generation. At best I will buy two out of three. At certain times, I think a console is terrible and never should have been made (Saturn & Xbox).

That being said, it is my opinion that if you ever REGRET buying a console, then you aren't a gamer. You are a poser who only cares about what is coolest.

I have been gaming since consoles were first created, and I have never owned EVERY console in any generation. At best I will buy two out of three. At certain times, I think a console is terrible and never should have been made (Saturn & Xbox).

Well yea, if you dont have a PC the 360's library is somewhat fantastic, but I do ... so its not :P.

The PS3 has great things coming, jast wait applies ofcourse :P

I regret not selling my intial launch console for an offer of a couple of thousand. But I didn't regret it until seeing PS3s in abundance at a Target store in early December.

I've had some very good times with the ps3, and absolutely love Blu-Rays, but since I beat Uncharted I haven't played it as much as my 360 and Wii. Until today..when the best baseball game on the market comes out.
