Anybody Watched a Naruto cartoon

I only watched one for the first time a few days ago and hes the most annoying cartoon character of all time I instantly hated him, I was thinking about buying the new naruto game for the 360 but wow hes a little bastard of a cartoon character.

First off, its anime; not cartoon.

Second off, you need to constantly watch to get his full personality, which is great.

Third.. Simplely, just watch more.

The Japanese version of the show is alright, but the American dub by 4Kids! is unbearable. His voice is so much more annoying in English... And him saying "Believe It!" repeatedly is also quite stupid.MetroidPrimePwn

"Believe it" is toned down quite a bit in the series, and he saids "Dattebayo"is saidmore in Naruto. Pretty much the equation. I don't think the dubbed Naruto is unbearable, I seen alot more worse dub in my lifetime.

I disagree. I like his personality, why he is what he is, it reminds me of how people are when in that situation. I think he bring a good deal of inspiring out as the main character.

I don't think he is at the bottom of the barrel, he won Kiba without the Kyuubi. Even deep into the series, in Arc 2, he is quite the ninja actually. The Kyubi does aid him, but he go a far distance on his own.

but i agree there's more to the character than just annoyiing. he's portrayed as annoying for a reason so i too agree he should watch more

Also, Naruto is a great anime, until the fillers. After the first few ep's I also hated Naruto, but then he became my favourite character.

I like the manga the anime drags everything out for no good reason. The Death Note anime is much better paced when compared to the manga. Dragon Ball Z manga is actually pretty cool but when you see them drag it out in the anime with some idiot huffing and puffing for 10 minutes it really loses its charm.JiveT

It was quite good like the first 140 eps or so but then came the two years horrible filler. Seriously it was the longest and the most horrible filler era in the history of anime thusthe hate against naruto.

Then came shippuuden (which is not to be confused with the original naruto, its a complete different series) which is very good.

The fillers were horrible indeed...

The start of Shippuuden sucked too.
Reque Gaara / Sand Village Arc was very badly animated (except for episode 26 for example).
Good thing this new arc is shaping up to be a lot, lot better. :)

The Jaoannese version is way different thats for sure. I just hate how short the new Shippuuden episodes are. The actual episodes are less than 20 minutes and thats including the constant flashbacks that occur.

If I ever had interest in the show it was in the Japanese version.
