I love halo reach and black ops certainly had its thrills to. But, honestly, i ignored halo online for some time to make some use of the sixty bucks i dished out for black ops. I had lots of fun, buying new guns and what not, but i slowly came to realize i was still getting frustrated all over again with COD, and that Black Ops didnt really fix too much. Expert campers still fin spots, i still spawn in the middke of enemy gunfire, and i cant stop gettin bombed by those little cars! I left black ops yesterday and returned to halo reach. by far, halo still has the better online experience of the two, because you why... I played it, had a great time, and didnt mind playing it again today. Anyone else feek like this recently?
youre going to see a lot of people going back to reach within the next few months. I'm betting that Reach will have more 360 players than BO by Feb. 1.

I bought reach at launch, and got bored and regretted it after a couple weeks...got black ops on pc on release day, after dealing with tons of initial bugs/performance issues i got bored and regretted it after a couple weeks Now im back to regular tf2 playing as usual with a lil counter strike on the side, and enjoying every minute of it for my fps fix I gotta quit doing this to myself :lol:
Once the new maps are out/ forgeworld contest maps are implemented into matchmaking, I'm taking a very long break away from crap-ops (I just play it because that's all my friends play right now). Plus, I just ordered New Vegas and Fable III! :)
I like Bops alot, but after going prestige and now having to earn everything again, I am seeing the same shallow gameplay that took me away from every other CoD eventually. I still play it alot and as I said I still like it, but I have Reach at the ready if bops gets too boring to even look at.
I did the opposite. I was playing a lot of Bad Company 2 and Call of Duty 4, and then bought Reach. Played it for a week, then remembered that Halo has never been that fun. After that, went back to Call of Duty 4 and, to a lesser extent, Battlefield.

hell Yea! ACB has been in my xbox more than any other game this month... My thanksgiving break has basically been an AssassinationFest!
I envy you. My Thanksgiving break has been me giving Valve money. And Call of Duty 4.
I don't play CoD, but most of my friends got Reach and then dropped it a week or two later and went back to MW2. Now they're all moving on to Black Ops. I've always thought Halo was superior to CoD but I guess most people disagree.

No, it's a balancing act for me. As soon as one gets stale, I switch to the other, and the cycle continues. Lately though, I haven't been interested in either because I've been catching up on the AC series.
I ditched Black Ops to finish Fable 3 and New Vegas. I also bought Trials HD and Splosion Man when they were on sale and they're both awesome. I'm waiting for the new Halo maps to play that again.

Dropping BC2 to play Halo or CoD is not a good idea. It's only leagues better. Eh, they might be better, but not that much better, I love the gameplay of BF.
halo reach is by far the more polished and balanced shooter. same happened with halo 3. halo 3 comes out, everyone is playing it. then COD4 comes out and most went to play that. couple months go by then every1 started to come back. then WAW and MW2 comes out and a couple months after release of MW2 halo 3 still had 200,000+ players online at once. so ya COD is the type ppl will get tired of. most players who left playing Halo reach will come back. halo is a well made game period

I dont have reach and dont think i'll ever get it but i know what your saying, i used to play CoD a lot and i mean a lot, loved MW2, think i had over 25 days of playtime on MW2. was excited for black ops but then its just sad, wasnt like how i expected it to be, i still play it during the weekends with friends but only on zombie mode. i left balck ops as well for other games like AC2, AC Brotherhood and Sly Collection :) . Black Ops is ok and added some great things but i just feel that they did not make it work right

I traded in Reach for Black Ops and I'm pretty sure I'm never going back to Reach. Personally I really don't like the style of gameplay Halo has where online it takes way too many shots to bring someone's armor on and then kill them. Also vehicles and some weapons are ridiculous and it all boils up to who can get to them the fastest.
That said I find Black Ops a lot of fun online (for the most part because 5-6 of my friends are playing it and we usually play as a party) but eventually I know we will get bored of it and I'll probably just go back to playing Counter-Strike Source like I always do.
Speaking of Black Ops, I just finished an evening of Sticks and Stones, which is easily my favorite game mode. I've become god-like with the Tomahawk too, a skill I've carried over into the regular modes. :shock:

Oh man I just played that for like an hour yesterday with my friends and it was so much fun. Me and one of my friends ended up tomahawking each other at blank range at exactly the same time.
Unfortunately, I have no game to ditch BO for, at least not one I haven't already played to death. But most people on my friends list seem to have jumped ship to GT5, at least for the time being.

Oh man... XD that's crazy! I love how the last thirty seconds of any given match are so intense - tomahawks flying left and right - it's amazing! They did such a good job with Black Ops online.
