Devil May Cry 4 was a decent game at best. NG 2 is gonna set the bar for action and I belive by atleast a 9.0 here at gamespot. Anyone care to challenge that statement?

Honestly, there not even in the same catagory for me. NG>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DMc. I only liked the first one. NG is in a class all by its self. To compare them is a insult.
Even though they are in the same genre it is kinda hard to compare them. I know one thing though, I (will) own both, and I'm sure they will compliment eachother nicely.
Yeah, but that isn't really saying anything against DMC4. NG2 will probably dump all over God of War 3 as well. Ninja Gaiden is in a class of its own, the best the genre has to offer.
Im going to enjoy both. Devil May Cry 4 was a good game. Yes it had many flaws, but the combat system and the good boss fights(even if they got rehashed) made up for alot of the games stubborn design flaws. The story and characters were over the top as usual and had there usual charm.
It wont be the AAA hit that Ninja Gaiden 2 will be, but it was a dang good game.
DMC4 was dissapointing gameplay-wise...its felt dated, and visually wasn't that appealing (gameplay)...cutscenes looked great and the story was top notch.
But even God of war 2 for the PS2, stomps on DMC4.
Capcom should have worked more on improving and changing the gameplay animations.
NG2 on the other hand looks superior...and NG is in a league of its own. It just needs a deeper story.
Since NGS dumps all over DMC4 it's almost gurenteeded that NG2 will. I just didn't feel the magic with DMC4. Now I feel that DMC 1 will go down and be remembered as the best in the serise. As it stands now from playing the games
NGS>>DMC1>NG/B=DMC4
DMC4 isn't BAAAD, but it isn't aww inspiring either. Here's to hoping NG2 is alot better.

For sure man. NG 2 relies on skill. DMC4 was sorta a step back from dmc 3.Gameplay at dmd was more forgiving in dmc4 imo. Not to mention Nero's DT just completely rips apart bosses. I remember playing NG on the xbox. Had trouble beating the 2nd level.

if you can play dmc4 like this, it ends up being a godly game (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU_ojJ8B8gs) but even that aside, NG and GOW are dial a combo games, dmc is different. I do think NG will stomp DMC4, but the only thing that peed me off with dmc4 was the lack of dantes missions, lack of weaponry, and story. it was too forgiving NG will do 2 out of those 3 things right :D

LOL yea right, god of war 3 is gonna murder anything the 360 has.......because i have a crystal ball too.......but Ninja gaiden 2 is gonna be good........but the only thing i see that they actually added was a crap load of gore.

No, just no I've always ranked the action games series GOW>DMC>NG. Ninja Gaiden has the gameplay but it fails as the complete package it's story is filler garbage even DMC's story (as cliche and cheesy as it is in DMC 4) is better.
It's all perference but Ninja Gaiden's progression from the 3 releases (that was pathetic) of the first seems just as bad as DMC 3 to DMC 4 but I'll still enjoy it but it doesn't dump over anything.
Nah, they're pretty different in gameplay but I guess at the core they're the same (same concept, anyway).
I have DMC4 and it's still a challenging game to get through on the higher difficulties. The combat is also very combo-based, while NG relies more on a weapons singular moves a lot of the time.
NG2 will probably be the better game though. I can't wait until next week. :)
Devil May Cry 3 is better then ninja gaiden 2 in every way expect graphics. And the scores for dmc 4 and ninja gaiden 2 are same right now on game ranking and i wish dmc 4 beats it because i hate ninja gaiden fanboys who think ninja gaiden is best action game out there.
