It's my favorite of the consoles. I play it far more often than my PS3.

Honestly yes.

The 360 was my first next gen console, it is the 20GB model and I got it for Oblivion which was planned to be a launch title. Well it got pushed back so I got COD2 instead (a great game), over the course of my 360's lifespan I have gotten scratched discs, 3 RROD's, and numerous other problems.

I had some good games on it don't get me wrong, Oblivion and Fallout 3 were amazing, Mass Effect was too. But from it's exclusives I had very little that interested me, Halo 3 was such a dissapointment, Fable is lol, Gears is the only enjoyable one. And then paying for online sucks. I'm glad I never bought that stupid WIFI adapter and just did a direct connection, but even then XBL is not worth paying for.

When the PS3 Slim came out and it became cheaper, I got one mainly for it's exclusives. Which are far better than all the exclusives on 360, especially in graphics. I love free online too, I don't care about cross game chat. And the system is super reliable and Blu Ray is nice. I ended up liking PS3 better than 360, so rebought many of my multiplats on PS3 and never noticed a difference despite what the fanboys like to say. PS3 is the better system, hands down.

But this is just my opinion though.

It's pretty shocking and depressing to see how hard the 360 ended up failing. WHen it was released you could tell it would never be able to compete with the PS3, but it still looked like it would have a few good games every year.

Then all it did was fail.

not only by the lack of production of the games, but also the lack of effort going from the past 3-4 years, its as if it was only yesterday when lemmings 3 years ago were like "oh this e3 there are no games but just wait till next year, and now its like 4 years in a row and still nothing.

Very, it started off great but the exclusive releases are on autopilot (and scarce) and putting everything including multiplayer behind a gold wall just reduces my desire to even turn on the thing besides for some pc streaming and the occasional SP multiplat.FIipMode

And anyway I think you are missing the point.

Sony didn't fail to implement because it wasn't wanted or needed, they failed to implement because they ran out of RAM, and technically they just couldn't pull it off.

In other words, MS pulled off on the 360 what Sony couldn't on the PS3.

And if you ask me they did it in lots of ways, not just voice comms but also matchmaking, connectivity, online security, and a whole host of things.
