Anyone else not getting UC3 OR GEoW3?

Im not getting either. Honestly, they both are just so uninteresting for me. Gears 2 was .....boring. Polished, but boring. I really dont know what to say about it, but there was just nothing truly different from any other cover third person shooter. I dont really see much of a difference in 3 except better graphics.

Uncharted 2 was......fun. For about a week. After beating the story, i headed to the multiplayer. I dont know what was about it, but i found it absolutely boring as well. Just like Gears, it looks to be like another third person shooter. The only difference is that it has teh platforming! Yay. But i honestly dont care.

Nope. I'm picking up both. I just finished Gears and now i'm just starting on Gears 2.

People that only own the Wii.

I'm getting Geow3 and my brother is getting UC3.

One of the few console games that i plan on purchasing.

You obviously didn't play the beta.It makes Gears 2 looks like a broken,lackluster piece of ****.I agree that Gears 2 wasn't all that great,but the Gears 3 beta is the most fun I've had with a multiplayer game in half a decade.NuclearFlower

I'm getting U3 midnight, its going be amazing. And if I had an Xbox, I would get Gears no question.

Getting both. Had fun with both of their beta's.

I'm not, but I might get UC3 if there's a price drop, or if all my friends get it and it's more fun then the 2nd.

Gears 3... I might play it if my brother buys it lol.

I'm not picking up UC3 because I haven't played one or two yet. It is on my list though. The first one is just so over priced still that I wont buy it.

It's the scripted stuff I don't like.

If Uncharted single-player was more about exploration, and less of a movie, I would definitely be more interested.

Only exclusives i am getting this year are Gears 3, Dark Souls and Skyward sword.

I don't have a PS3, but Uncharted doesn't look good to begin with.

What? If Gears was any less scripted and linear it'd be open world RPG. Hell Epic went to a whole new level making all there bosses non-scripted and completely dynamic. ColdWraith

I watched the Gears 3 campaign on YouTube--it seems pretty linear to me.

Like when they go to that ruined place near the beginning of the game... (not giving it away for the sake of spoilers)

But that's irrelevant. Games can be relatively restricted but still have mountains of exploration.

It's more the cinematics that I have an issue with.

Linear, cinematic plots have no place in video games.

Gears of war 3 was one of the greatest games I've ever laid hands on. The beta was the best beta I've ever laid hands on. I hated Gears of war 2 as well. I'll defiantly be getting it. Uncharted 3 is the same thing, horrid multi-player. But a great campaign. I'll be picking it up as well. And before someone calls me a fan boy. Wow sounds like they did improve it. IMO those were the features that made me dispise Gears 2 MP. I'm going to go ahead and gamefly it then.

In the US it was Atlus. In Europe it was Namco Bandai. Since Sony published it in Japan it kept it from being released on other platforms outside of Japan. Dark Souls isn't the sequel though. It's a spiritual successor, which is why its being multiplat. Most likely because Sony didn't want the game to be multiplat, but they don't have much of a choice now that From is on Dark Souls with Namco Bandai is the publisher in NA and EU. From is developing AND publishing the game in Japan, so they're able to do whatever they want with it, it's completely out of Sony's hands now.

I'm getting both, one for MP, another for both.

I not getting neither either. It going to be Batman and Legend of Zelda for me this fall.
