Anyone else not getting UC3 OR GEoW3?

Im not getting either. Honestly, they both are just so uninteresting for me. Gears 2 was .....boring. Polished, but boring. I really dont know what to say about it, but there was just nothing truly different from any other cover third person shooter. I dont really see much of a difference in 3 except better graphics.Uncharted 2 was......fun. For about a week. After beating the story, i headed to the multiplayer. I dont know what was about it, but i found it absolutely boring as well. Just like Gears, it looks to be like another third person shooter. The only difference is that it has teh platforming! Yay. But i honestly dont care.Anyone else not getting either?

I'll definitely be getting GeoW3 don't know about UC3 though graphics are kind of inconsistent to the point of beingdown right ugly at times.

Now there's a first, I've never heard anyone call Uncharted "ugly" before. Are you being serious because in all honesty I just can't believe it. Are you also suggesting that Gears 3 looks better?

It wouldn't be unrealistic to suggest that Gears 3 looks better. However, it is a little silly to call either game ugly.

It kinda does in some areas. It comes down to Art Preference.

Gears 3 does, and I've played both betas. Gears of war 3 looked miles better. And he's correct, in the beta Uncharted 3 looked down right UGLY at points.

Betas don't count. It's unfinished product. You can't judge a game based on the beta. I hated the Halo: Reach beta but I loved the final game. Its unfinished product, you just can't judge the full game based on it.

Some places look good while others look like this iguess. Maybe because the PS3 has half the usable ram that the 360 hasor less pixel pushing power i don't know.

I'm not. Due to the small, yet significant issue of not owning either of the consoles, not because I'm a hardcore PC loyalist or elitist, mostly because for someone like myself $300 or whatever is quite a lot of money, at least enough to make it kinda not worth it given the libraries of each system (ie, sure, there are games I'm interested in, but not enough to spend $300 dollars just to get something to play them on). I'm sure they'll be very good, however, perfectly suitable for those that are interested in them.

I don't have a PS3, so Uncharted is a no. My brother has the Xbox now since I'm not around to and have no interest in playing it. I'll probably rent Gears, but I'm certainly not buying it.

Well, I'm a not a big fan of shooters, but I might pick up UC3 if I really feel like it. Out of that cahnce, I'm not gettign either.

gears 2 i may get when its cheap (and the obligatory 6 months of "will there be a PC version" passes :P). uncharted and i dont get on so i wont be getting UC3.

I expect that I'll rent them eventually. I thought both GEoW2 and UC2 were enjoyable, but both lost their luster after the first play through. I'll rent 'em play 'em and send 'em back :)Mazoch

I second this. These two franchises were not my cup of tea, and at the very most, I will rent one of them to play with my friends for a few weeks or so. Maybe I'll get something out of either of them, like becoming a better TPS gamer, but not much more value is there for me than that.
