Looks like it's pretty safe to assume that MP beta will be available in november :P Like the last time...

Killzone 3 doesnt look to have improved greatly since KZ2. Both are coming out in 2011 so it still has time.

Though I give the edge to Gears 3.. Looks fantastic.

As of right now, I'd say Gears 3 has the edge in graphics. I love the fact it will have 4 player co op too.

Gears 3 looks phenominal, and so far from what has been seen, looks to be graphics champ on 360. KZ3 looks better though. There is a lot going on there and the effects are awesome. I can't wait to see the polished game. I think both look to provide a very exciting campaign. I hope gears turns back the clock to Gears 1 style mp.

Its no question KZ3 looks much better than Gears 3. KZ3 is in pre-alpha. and the E3 gameplay footage required you to put on 3D glasses, because like the 3D displays in movie theaters, without you wearing 3D glasses, the image becomes very blurry, yet that still didntstop KZ3 from looking much better graphically than Gears 3.KZ2, U2, and GOW3 all look much better graphically

Neither games looked like it took steps foward in the graphics department, not that they're anything close to being bad to begin with.

It was kind of hard to tell from the footage. They kept cutting away from the direct feed for about half of the video so we could see that "zomg, they're really on stage playing!" The people that make those decisions need to find a new line of work.

Anyway I hate when people bring things up like "Its in super pre-alpha!" or "It still has 6 months before release!" When has a game ever vastly improved from when they first showed it? If anything games look worse.

Gears 3 comes out roughly 2 months after KZ3. That said, KZ3 is running on only the second iteration of it's engine. the version of UE that Gears 3 is running on, i think i'ts safe to say, has been around longer, so .. well, whatever. Either way, pausing both videos in "similar" screens shows me the differences are nil. just like GeoW2, and KZ2. KZ2 looked a tad better, just like i'm sure KZ3 is going to look a tad better in the end. But "i'm sure" and "i know" are two different things. So i'm not ruling out GeoW3. However, the odds of GeoW3 beating out UC2 is unlikely.0rin

even Halo from its Beta form is going to look better graphically(better as in, improved, not better than the competition, best I elaborate, some fanboy is going to misinterpret it). the same will go for Killzone and Gears. I don't see why they can't get any optimation out of their current builds in a year.

these are both based on gameplay too, they'd have to go out on a real stretch to make a 'bullshot' demonstration. applying this to 'if anything, it looks worse' mindset.

maybe I'm wrong, but to say they can't get anything better, whether is graphically, or how the game performs, seems absurd to me.
