Anyone else noticing the Word "delayed" alot more?

I mean, now MGS Peacewalker is delayed til june... are developers just getting lazy(haha) or is there some kind of greater scheme behind it all. i mean with MGS i hear there's a bundle of sorts, but what about other games out there.

whats your most anticipated delayed game?

Would you rather have them ship unfinished games?

Thats one think Nintendo has been working on, not even announcing a game till it is close to avoid delays and such.wooooode

And Valve. They wont even talk about Half Life 2: Episode 3 except that it will be "ambitious."

I read about Peace Walker a while ago and was bummed by it... as it'sthe one I'm waiting for.

I'm not hyped on Peace Walker.

But I'm wondering why more games are delayed though. even though I rather have the game be finished. but I mean the game should have already BEEN finished.

Well I'd rather hear delayed more than rushed.

Well quite recently more and more titles are being released each week, delays happen due to either more development time needed or to maximize profits. For example Singularity was quite for...quite a bit because it was going to come out at a similar time frame as MW2, if it did come out when it should have been low sales would have been guaranteed.
