Anyone else prefer MGS3 over 4?

I love MGS4, story-wise..its intense, beutifull and memorable, More so than 3.

But gameplay-wise, i just feel MGS3 is better, i prefer the cover system they've replaced, being able to break necks and interigate your enemy. MGS3 story is also more simple and fun to play (thanks to some of the best boss fights/enemies, IMO)

Not only that, i prefer the Jungle setting. It always felt so right for a MGS game and overall stealth to be done in a jungle enviroment, very satisfying.

I was very dissapointed when MGS4 used a much slower and honestly UNEEDED cover/wall hug system, and replacing the neck breaking with a choke hold.

but i do feel MGS4 deserved a 10. MGS3 should have scored better tho. But still an AAA title (subsistance)

MGS3 had a better story and ending by a little. But other than that everything else was better in MGS4.

ya i dont know what happened with the camera angle...i mean it worked amazingly with metal gear solid and metal gear solid 2: sons of liberty.

Play MGS3: Subsistance. Much better.

Camera for the original didn't work well because most of it was OUTDOORS, so the camera was higher, unlike in 2, where is either in a building or facility, etc.

I really, really want the first three MGS games remade with MGS4 control scheme and graphics. That would make me buy a PS3 even if they cost $2000. noswear

the aiming is better in 4, imagine MGS3 remade with the crysis engine and MGS4 gameplay perspective.:o

No more MGS 1 remakes and no MGS3 yet. MGS2 is the next one in queue.

MGS1, MGS4, MGS3, MGS2 imo :D

That would be fantastic hehe, The new Mech Warrior mod for Crysis looks great, as do a few other cool looking mods (with new moves,suit abilitys, voice acting, cut scenes,new levels, cutom sounds, new leaves *pine tree', etc..*).

That Crysis editor is unmatched:)

No more MGS 1 remakes and no MGS3 yet. MGS2 is the next one in queue.

MGS2 would be nice. It's still one of my favourite games of all time, but using that control scheme straight after MGS4 is jarring.

nope. I do like MGS3,but there was no real backstory to the bosses. Which was kind of a turn off. Since I felt no impact fighting them. That was only my real issue with the game.finalfantasy94

well you dont really need any more explanation of the bosses then what was already explained in mgs3.
