Anyone else think the Wii is overrated?

Yes i have one...but all its doing is sitting in the corner of my room collecting dust. Id even pick up a ps3 before a Wii. At least the games (though not very many) are much more fun. Im not very impressed either with the line-up. There are maybe only 3-4 games that ill actually buy. I currently have 6 games,2 i rarely touched even when i got them on launch day. Otherwise for me 360 is the way to go, since im holding off on a ps3. To many versions and bundles coming out in such a short time frame. What can i say im not a casual gamer. The DS on the other i do enjoy.

What are your thoughts?

It's not overrated, nor underrated. It's not amazing, it's not terrible. It's exactly what I expected from a $250 system.

^^^ I wouldn't worry too much. Wii are getting some real quality titles this year with 2 recentAAA Wii games already released - Galaxy and Zack & Wiki. Feburary will have No More Heroes and Brawl, and later Mario Kart. Keep in mind Nintendo haven't announced their 2008 plans.

I guess thats true...the next-gen wars are still pretty early. But even so...the gap in between awesome titles are just so long.

The concept of the wii was good, but it had very limited programming capabilities compared to the 360. 3rd party developers are stopping their wii game productions. Its pretty much just a fad that is overhyped and dying out.shakmaster13

As for me, I'm too busy playing Zack and Wiki and Bwii online to think about it.

owned. remember reing excited to play a game like graw? lol ghost recon 1 with slightly better graphics. Remember the past lemmings, just because you had a year head start doesn't mean the shooterbox 360 is the best.

Nope it's not for me. I use it alot. I'm currently playing the great BWii and am trying to beat hyper mode in MP3. I also need to get all gold medals and get all the fire souls in Sonic...

And I use the internet channel, everybody votes, and play my VC games sometimes too.

all 3 consoles are over rated, the wii just got more attention for being a little diferent.Mizarus

On system wars, everything is under-rated.

I knew the Wii would be overrated from the get go. See I owned a Sega Activator, I saw nothing inovative about the Wii.
