Anyone find it funny that after the format war between Sony and MS........

.......We're now being treated to a "gimmick war" between them (Natal vs. Arc) :P

And Sony also is using 3D, but that's probably not in direct competition with MS since it's not limited to just the gaming industry.

Wiimote lose senceing of postion after IR sensor in Wiimote losses contact woith sensor bar (that i reality is not a sensor at all) and Wiimotion+ is just add of magnetmeters (electronical compass) to make full scale orientation detection (accelerometers don't know in what diraction you have wiimote place, it's there blind spot) . Thanks to ball shape light source (oh irony) and EyeToy color tracking features PS3 can determet postion in every orientation that light ball is not covered, and looks like it also got accerometers and magnetometers to determent orientaion. So in terms of movement detection Arc is a little more supperior then WiiMote, also remember that you got also a EyeToy on, that can do some basic Natal-like stuff (see EyePet)

any imagined war was in the minds of the console fans.

each system is doing it's best to put out a good product and they each have done an admirable job.

what I find "funny" is the continual effort of certain members in system wars to find something sinister that just is not there.

companies want to do well but not necessarily to the detriment of each other....competition, especially strong competition is very good for sales.

What I find most humorous about this war is that most of the soldiers fighting it in the front lines are right here in SW, and none of them are paid or compensated in any way for their efforts.jalexbrown
