Anyone Hate GTAIV But Love RDR? Or is RDR as Bad?

Well, I thought RDR was okay for a while, but ultimately got very boring about one-third to one-half way through it (Mexico).

I did hate GTA IV completely, though, so I thought RDR was a major improvement.

Strange how the controls are the same, but the few minor tweaks they made to sensitivity made awful gameplay (GTA IV) into good gameplay (RDR).

Never finish GTA4 because how bad it ran. I also never liked how the cars controlled. I may start it again one day since that icenhancer mod looks crazy good. RDR I had no problem finishing. I really liked the combat in RDR. Also, the ending for RDR is probably one of the best I've seen.

I was never a big fan of GTA IV, but RDR was even worse for me. I thought it was terribly boring. I'm not a big fan of Rockstar in general.

I love GTA4 and I like RDR

I dislike GTA IV but I loved RDR. It was much more fun in my opinion, the story was great also.

I disliked GTA4, but found it enjoyable in brief stints (i.e., occasional rampages).

RDR, on the other hand, was bloody terrible. Few games have wasted their potential so badly.

Red Dead did something pretty spectacular, Rockstar San Diego made an open world action adventure that was on par with GTA IV and in some ways better. What makes it even more impressive is how f*ing awesome GTA IV is.

I really loved GTA IV and only liked RDR.

Both GTA4, and RDR became boring really fast. Both were a struggle to finish for me. RDR was full of so many glitches I still have no idea how it won GOTY last year.

WTF how are so many ppl saying RDR was bad when it won GOTY like everywhere. GTA4 was good but a bit bland, quests were stiff. Dating sims etc was not fun. RDR was 10 times the game GTA4 was. It was much evolved. The quests were way better done. The game was just a lot more polished and well made. I loved the hell out of RDR and I'm not a suual Rockstar fan.

RDR was so much more boring than GTA IV. Unless you're into riding your horse for upwards of 10 minutes to get anywhere through a desolate, empty environment.Guppy507

RDR is entirely different if you ask me. Both fun, RDR more fun IMO.

both are outrageously overrated

RDR is as boring as gta IV, i didn't like both for the same reason. Try ballad of gay tony if you want a fun gta style game
