Anyone here think Gears 3 will be at VGAs?

I highly doubt it because that would mean it would have to come out next year and that would result in Halo and a Gears game coming out the same time and i dont think MS would have 2 huge giants like that coming out the same time. So do you think Resistance 3 is more likely to be announced than Gears 3?

I think both are very likely actually.

They have not been announced yet officially, so they could very well be shown off, and based on their release patters are due for next year.

Not necessarily. Dante's Inferno was revealed there and won't release until 2010.

I doubt the PS3 will have any exclusives announced at the VGAs, this will definatley be 360s show all the way

Halo Reach coming around September next year and Gears 3 releasing around November 2010 wouldn't surprise me , as Microsoft likes to be in the limelight in those months.Holiday is their time to shine. But them showing both games at the VGA's is probably overkill. Sony's going to likely announce a lot of games early in the first part of the 2010 so it makes sense to hold something back. That's how I would play it anyway. Cliffy B will be there so it's possible , but Shadow Complex is up for DL game of the year so that could explain that.

As for Resistance 3 .... I think they'll take the same approach as R2 - announce the game early in the year and release it at the end of the year. (2010)

I don't think it will, but if it does appear then it is going to make VGA AWESOME!!

They should hold it as a launch title for the next gen..That would be epic (no pun intended.)

For now they could make some side story, I guess. Gears:ODST, I presume? :P

Nope. I do expect a new game from Cliffster, however. The one from him and People Can Fly.

I doubt Gears 3 will show up tonight. It seems 50/50 to me whether it'll be released in 2010 or 2011. If it does get released in 2010 it'll probablybe revealed at GDC and shown off at E3 like Gears 2 was.

I thought Epic announced that they wouldnt make another one for 2-3 years atleast or until next wave of consoles......

Why I would be phyched if it would be announced , but unfortunatelythats just not gonna happen in my opinion :(
