Both my Mom AND Dad game, my Dad moreso than my Mom.

My mom playes Zelda, Silent Hill and Resident Evil gameshere and there... and she'll beat them.

My dad will play for hours and hours. He's been gaming since the Nes, and he actually plays games just as much as me.Just about2weeks ago he decided to try out my 360. He finished Prince of Persia in 2 days, Dead Space in 2, GTA 4 in 3,Gears of War twice in 3 days (He even deleted my save knowing I was far) and now he's working on Gears 2 which he just purchased today. He plans on buying RE5 as well. Geez....

That's cool, but the question was do your parents game?

As for my parents, me and my dad use to play Mario Kart 64 in the day when I was younger, and me and my mom would play some kinda co-op disney game, it was on the Sega Genisis, where I was donnald and she was mickey, but I can't remmember the name of it.

My Parents aren't gamers, well my mom played with me Guitar Hero: WT as the singer and guitar, and she admits she played Super Mario bros back in the day but that's it. On the other hand I have my 45 year old aunt that's a gaming addict and her console of choice is the Wii because she loves Zelda, and no she doesn't buy shovelware, actually her high-rated:Low-rated games ratio is actually better than mine.

My dad still plays CoD1, MoH:AA, and Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix on PC. That's about it though, since his PC isn't exactly up to par.

Nah... my mom is just now getting used to email. It was never part of their culture to game.

My mom plays Wii Sports, Mario Kart and Brawl. I'd guess that's significantly better than most of the adult population that is attracted to shovelware.

Im a parent, i have 3 kids, ages 14,11 and 5. Middle one a boy others 2 girls.

I game, as does my wife. My whole family prefer the PC, its why i need 3 PC's lol, still not enough to go around.

Iplay pretty much any good game going, currently playing (see sig). My wife plays WoW, WAR, L4D, TF2 and sims2 mainly. My son loves RTS more than any other genre so as you can imagine PC is his prefered system, he does play alot of PS3 though too. We regularly play L4D together and a whole host of RTS games together.

Other than that, she doesn't play games.

My dad would be the 2nd biggest gamer in my house hold other then myself, my mum would play the odd bit of brain training on the DS.

My dad plays on nothing but the Wii, he plays all the WW2 shooters Medal of Honor and CoD but his favorite is the Resident Evil series and he is so disapointed about Resident Evil 5 coming to the 360/PS3 as he cant get his head around dual analog controls. Its infruiating watching him play CoD 4 on the 360 :P

Well my parents are far from being gamers. My mother plays those retarded clicking games on the computer, bejeweled etc...though my father doesn't play he'd stand there and watch me play for a few minutes. I remember playing devil may cry and ninja gaiden, it was funny when i get surrounded and attacked by a lot of enemies, he'd be like "those are no joke, what the ass is that." things like that... but yea, in short, no they don't

My Dad's retired in his 60's at his summer condo in Florida right now playing GTA4. Him being a gamer is good because we often swap games after we play them, it saves me money.

This thread is full of win. I'm a dad with a two year old and a one month old (today), so if my kids were able to respond, they'd say yes. My daughter can identify a DS, a Wii, a 360, and a PS3, although I only play select games when she's around. She loves golf on the Wii and will ask to play it. My mom plays games. I would come home from school to find her playing my NES. She loved Super Mario Brothers 3. I think she plays my brother's PS3. My dad and I would play Madden together on the SNES. He loves tech stuff but doesn't actually show any interest in using it himself. And on a side note, my wife will play Guitar Hero from time to time, has recovered from her Minesweeper addiction, and likes those puzzle games like Zuma. Other than that, she just fusses that she doesn't like to hear the shooting noises.

Oh, and my grandmother was hardcore into Ms. PacMan

My mom plays Wii sports, Mario Kart, and of course that god aweful Wii fit.

My dad plays the classics like Doom, Doom II, Heretic, Hexen, Half-Life, and Duke. He was the one who got me into gaming and still occasionally play games on co-op with him but as he is getting older his reflexes arent nearly as good as they once were.
