I doubt it after 3 a years extra effort by microsofts studios.

it might have but not to the same level of quality. espcially for the online portion (xbl doing 32 man? lolz)
It's possible, though I'd expect a few minor differences. A downgrade here, an upgrade there... really minor though.
[QUOTE="frankberns"]I doubt it. The best looking 360 game runs terribly online, and KZ2 >>> Gears 2 in visuals. I have no clue how KZ2 looks so amazing on PS3 and is lag free.... and I have a **** internet connection too.StealthKnifeTRUE, the online is terrible on gears
Which has absolutely nothing to do with the visuals in the game.

ever heard of graphics lag?Yes, I could see Halo ODST doing it I hopeToriko42Isn't ODST simply going to use Halo 3's graphics engine?

[QUOTE="chadwick1343"]xbox360 can do better, sony/gg worked their ass off just to achieve what they did. they spent alot more time on Halo 3 than killzone 2 and that game looks like crap.I doubt it after 3 a years extra effort by microsofts studios.

ever heard of graphics lag?Yes, I've heard of graphics lag, but 90% of the performance issues in Gears 2 online occur before you even get into a match(IF you're able to get into one). On those occasions that I've gotten into games, it's run without a hitch. So, no, it doesn't have anything to do with the graphics in this case.
[QUOTE="grr320"][QUOTE="chadwick1343"]xbox360 can do better, sony/gg worked their ass off just to achieve what they did. they spent alot more time on Halo 3 than killzone 2 and that game looks like crap.Actually Halo 3 was developed for less than three years (3), where Killzone was developed for over four years (4). And yet Halo 3 is a much better package overall.I doubt it after 3 a years extra effort by microsofts studios.

The almighty Godbox 360 wouldn't need nearly as much effort put in to make a game as good-looking as KZ2. :roll:I doubt it after 3 a years extra effort by microsofts studios.

I wouldn't say crap. It's no graphical powerhouse, but its far from some of the worse we've seen this gen.
IMO though, Halo's art style is what really sets it apart from other shooters. Those colors are intense...
Considering both consoles are about equal in power (according to most devs) I would have to say YES. Some things might be a little different here and there but I'm sure a 360 version would look almost identical. I don't know why people think the PS3 is so much more powerful then the 360. That's like comparing a Corvette to a Dodge Viper. Both are pretty much on par with each other.

Because they have nothing better to do, and the idiotic reign supreme in SW.

Yes, I think it could. Just like Gears 1 and 2 could have easily been pulled off on the PS3 despite fanboy assertions.
But it's all pointless to argue because Killzone 2 won't be on 360 and the Gears games won't be on PS3 (for obvious reasons.) So...why bother arguing something that had zero chance of happening anyway? Just a waste of time.

Hilarious. Keep deluding yourself. Teh Killzone iz teh greatest!!!!!
I'll give it to you, the graphics are good. It's the most graphically stunning generic shooter to come along in years.

Generic? That seems to be the new buzz word around here. How is Crysis, Halo 3 or L4D not generic?

Erm and the facts to back up your point? Manye devs see the PS3 and 360 as being equal, and being able to perform almost identically
halo 3's textures blow killzone2's away that's for damn sure.grr320:) heh I have to ask you when you try to convince yourself this how do you stop yourself from giggling or bursting out laughing ?

It's simple really. It's because they're not on the PS3. :Pthe spe's synergestic processing elements run at 3.2 ghz same as the powerpc core.I know I'm not a dev or anything, but GG said they are, at times, maxing out all 6 of the usable SPE's, which are each at 3.4Ghz.
So could somebody please tell me how they could do the same thing with 3 cores also had 3.4Ghz?

[QUOTE="Toriko42"]Yes, I could see Halo ODST doing it I hopenervmeisterIsn't ODST simply going to use Halo 3's graphics engine? Yes but like I said I hope I hope they change it into a full fledged game, I hope it becomes a full retail title that MS has said they will announce and I hope it has a new engine with new online.

SPE's are not as powerful as a physical core... just because they are clocked the same doesn't mean anything
