Anyone think Killzone 2 could be pulled off on a 360?

I think with a 220 person development team, massive budget, and 3-4 years of development it could easily be pulled off.

LOL, it looks better, killzone2 just dev's just added more advanced shaders like smoke getting pushed by wind or fire getting pushed by wind unreal engine 3 can do even more advanced stuff than that, they just didnt use it for gears of war 2. gears of war 2 overall has better textures and character models and undeniably better artstyle.

KZ2 is doing some things, particulary with lighting and environmental effects, to an extent that I've never seen on xbox360 to date, which doesn't necessarily mean that the 360 can't - it just hasn't so far... It will be interesting to see what Microsoft counters with...

I remember it being quite the hyped "PS3 exclusive" for a while (despite the existence of the PC version). It was only until very close to release that Epic decided to put it on 360 as well.

Can we just end this??? K2 looks better than gears 2 because of the post processing effects, that comes from more dev time. Gears has better textures, but do to limited dev time, you really dont have alot of Post processing. K2 could work on 360 because it would be a PORT, it would not need to be developed for 4.5yrs. To say that the cell is more powerfull that the 360 as a whole would really be failing to understand how game development works, GPU is more important that CPU, why cant people understand that?? Still, Killzone obviously looks better than gears 2, by how much really doesnt matter, it just does. Whether you win by 2 or by 50 really doesnt matter because you still win right??

People, The PS3 has an edge over the 360 and thats the parallel processing it can do with its cell processor, it can run in circles around the 360 in terms of physics,AI etc.. cpu intensive stuff. Now in terms of graphics both are about the same 256mb video and 256mb system memory. Also the PS3's Blue ray has an edge over the 360 not needing to compressing the game such as textures,audio etc, and cutting corners to make the game fit on one DL DVD. The only thing that the 360 has over the PS3 is that coding for it isnt as hard but as time goes more devs know how to code for the PS3 which is why there so my games coming out now. Now could KZ2 be ported sure but they would have backwards engineer the game to fit on one DL disc major cutting and compression, code it for a new setup. Basically creating the game from scratch to make it work. Now please stop with the PS3 vs 360 vs Pc we all know Pc will always win :P

that was stuff they added to unreal engine 3 to be used in gears of war 2. killzone2 might have better smoke effects but who cares? gears of war 2 overall looks better. lol killzone2 looks trash in screenshots only looks good in motion.

Are you saying you think Crysis and L4D are generic?

I agree. Crysis was one of the least generic shooters released this gen. L4D also has fantastic game mechanics which help force co-operation and teamplay.

lol KZ2 flames look even worse,RE5 flames crushes both.

lol KZ2 flames look even worse,RE5 flames crushes both.

RE5 flames were funded by Michael Bay, that's why it crushes KZ2 and GeoW2.
